Hope for the wicked

Two days, Five days, two weeks past and no word. Still cha min-geun, one of the most influential men in the crime world sits in jail, with no possibility of bail and no hope.

While at the spades bar, Tats, his son, was drinking and sulking all by himself.

"What's going on with you, why did you call me here?"

"How is da-hee?"

"Why do you ask?"

"Well, I just want to know how she is, considering the fact that we haven't spoken in a while."

"Tats... tats, is that why you called me all the way here, because you miss your friend; why don't you just call her?"

Tats looks at uju sitting beside him and responds. "Do you know my full name; Cha tae-sung.... my father gave me that name. He named me after his predecessor of the Styx gang. He killed that man before I was born. Imagine telling your son you named him after someone you killed; what am I supposed to do with that information, hmmm?"

Uju felt so sad for him at that moment. Even though Cha min-geun is a horrible man, he is still his dad. Though tats has a strange way of expressing concern for his father, uju has grown quite accustomed to tats and da-hee's strange ways of expressing themselves. All this she thought to herself as she tried to comfort him. "Hey, hey." She says as she places her hands on his. "Considering all that has been happening with your dad and your past relationship with him. I know you are feeling conflicted right now. I just want you to know it's okay to feel sad, whatever feelings you have right now are justified."

"Thanks for saying that."

"However, I don't understand what this has to do with da-hee."

"Well, when my mom found out about the origins of my name, she started calling me tats, because that's the only word I kept on saying as a baby. (He says as he smiles lightly)." And Uju chuckles in response. "But he couldn't even let me have that, and instead he took her away too."

"Wait, what do you mean?"

Then tats grabs uju's hands aggressively. "I know da-hee had something to do with him being in jail right now. I more than anyone have a right to be involved in his downfall."

"What are you talking about?" Being unsettled by tats behaviour, uju tries to get his hands off hers but he wouldn't budge. "Tats, Let go of my hand. Let go!" Uju says as she struggles to pull away from him.

"You and her don't understand, that man would do anything to get what he wants. He would hurt anyone to get what he wants and a prison cell won't stop him." Tats says as he continues to hold onto uju's hand.

Then leah yells at him "Let go!". Tats eventually lets her go and uju feeling scared, ran out of the club.

Feeling regretful about his behaviour, he decided to run after her and apologize. As tats catches up to uju and tries to stop her, he is suddenly knocked to the ground. Seeing what had happened, uju didn't care if the assailant was twice her size, she still tried to fight him off as he was about to grab tats again. Little did she know that he had a weapon on him. He pulled out the gun, pointing it at uju and looked to tat's as he said. "Get in the car before I shoot this bitch."

While all this was happening; tats was confused; not because uju was being held at gunpoint or because he just got punched, but as to why one of his fathers men would do this to him.
