Kenji vs Monoma Pt 2

Kenji swiftly cut Monoma's arms off once again. Before the mist could start, he made a quick landing and turned around. "I won't let a human give me any challenge!" Monoma shouted. Monoma swiftly regenerated and grabbed Kenji's arms. Kenji pulled out of his grasp and grabbed him. He started to squeeze harder on Monoma's arm, and veins started appearing on his. Kenji ripped off Monoma's arm and chucked it away swiftly. He then drew circles of fire around Monoma, trapping him like a wild animal. "I never expected it to end like this," Monoma muttered. Kenji looked down on him. Toshi exited the hut quickly. "Kill me, human. You should feel honored that you killed a lower rank in the first place-" Monoma was quickly cut off. Kenji had cut right through his head. He felt wild. Kenji dropped his sword and started to feel the impact of magic on his body. "You never said this would hurt so badly-" Kenji looked around. "Did I do this?" he muttered, looking outside at Toshi. "You did it, kid. You've defeated your first demon!" Toshi came inside and cleared the fire. He cleaned up the place. "Remember, there are many more challenges ahead. There are many more magic types to learn than just elements, and there are many other obstacles aside from demons." Toshi said. Kenji felt lightheaded and nauseous. He looked around nervously. Passing out was one of his biggest fears. He decided to let the darkness take him, and he finally closed his eyes. The battle was won. Everything was finished. He finally had some time to rest.

2 HOURS LATER.....

Kenji pushed himself off the ground. "Hey gramps, where am I?" he said. "We're at my dojo, son. We're here so that you can get some training in. First, I need you to focus on your stomach. That's where your magic lays. If you can draw it from the center of your being, we can take a break. Use the magic to hit this dummy." Toshi explained. Kenji looked at Toshi with visible concern. I start launching fireballs and water waves from my sword and you think I'm Harry Potter?" Kenji said. "Oh, about that," Toshi began. "You shattered your sword when you used fire to beat Monoma." Kenji looked at him with more concern. "You expect me to do this with my hands?" Kenji muttered. "Nobody said this was going to be easy....easy....easy." Those words echoed in Kenji's head. he remembered how he got into a fight with his siblings one day and was given a serious lecture. "Nobody ever said that training would be easy! Do you think all things in life come to you easily? Things aren't handed to you for free, Kenji!" She was shouting at him violently, but with such a hoarse voice. Kenji looked at the dummy. He centered his hands and began to focus. A ball of light began to form in his hands, but he quickly lost focus when he heard a bird next to him. He tried again but lost focus when he heard Toshi sneeze. "Could you at least keep it down, Gramps?" Kenji said angrily. He was stuck there, trying for hours and hours until he finally gave up. "I can't do it! I've thrown tons of laser beams and stupid concentration blasts at this thing, and nothing happened! I'm giving up!" Kenji shouted as he walked back to the hut. "What a foolish boy. He didn't even realize that he finished the mission the first time he tried. Toshi looked at the dummy next to the one he told Kenji to hit. he walked up to it with a laugh. The dummy had a large hole in it.
