The Devil

Kenji forced his aura around him. He launched the demon away with it. The marks were even more noticeable now. The demon had written words all over the ground. Kenji wasn't paying attention and stepped on one. A chain reaction started. He launched into the air and landed on the other words. Kenji finally landed on the ground in front of the demon. He had scratches and blood all over his body, but he was fine. He pushed himself up slowly. Kenji whipped around the demon as if he was air. He kicked the demon in the face, launching him next to the hut. The demon ran up to him. He ran circles around the demon with his fist glowing. He made a circle and lit it up, sending him and the demon flying away. Kenji was now on the ground next to the demon. He rolled over and grabbed the demon by the hair. He ripped its head off and started to let out more energy. He used this energy to rip his arms off as well. The demon was finally dead. He went and grabbed his sword. "Looks like the roots and core were in his arms," Kenji said. He returned back to normal. He heard more footsteps. He quickly started to run away. His energy had alerted more monsters. He started to run quicker. Eventually, a demon caught up to him. He pushed out energy and dodged its attack. He kicked the demon in the face and grabbed it by the wrist. He lifted it into the air. He started to press on the demon's wrist. The demon slipped out of his grasp and kicked him in the stomach. He forced out even more energy. Demons started to surround him. That's the moment he snapped. Black covered his whole body. He had horns on his head. He had grown taller, and his muscles were more defined. Red lines formed a pattern on his arms, legs, and chest. He had a strong back and rough, defined legs. He picked up his sword and drew a circle around the demon swiftly. In a second, he was back where he was before. He blinked. The circles all detonated on the demons, sending a shockwave so powerful that all the demons flew miles away from Kenji. He threw his sword into the air. Demons started bolting toward him. Kenji kicked one next to him and threw it at one above him. He kicked a demon that was below him and used its leg to smack away the rest of them. One was left. It was tall and muscular. Suddenly, the sword had come down and sliced the demon in half. Kenji sat down with his sword in his hand, dripping with the blood of the ones he that murdered. The black and red marks left Kenji's body, and the horns went back into his head. Suddenly, he couldn't move. If a demon were to come, he was toast. He had used all his energy. He then couldn't feel his body. He passed out. When he woke up, he heard a familiar voice. "Kid, kid? Do you want some rice? Kid?" The voice pounded his head like a drum.
