132. What Did You Do?

"Yeon," Stan fidgeted on his seat. "Do you have something to tell me?"

"Something like what?"

"I know what's happening between you and Mora."

Yeon almost chocked from the water he'd been drinking. "You do?" He asked, wiping his lips using the back of his hand and placed the glass on top of the kitchen countertop.

"You two meet all the time?"

"Have you been spying on me?"

"Maybe."

"Maybe?"

"What choice did I have? You meet her all the time in secret. It was only a matter of time that I'd get curious and start investigating Yeon." Stan stood up and reached for a tablecloth to wipe the spilled water from the countertop next to his fated. He seemed satisfied to have caught Yeon in the act, and the fact that Yeon hadn't tried to deny it made him even more irritable. "We used to go home together but nowerdays, almost every week I have to drop you off to see your parents, which is also another lie you tell me since it's never your parents you're meeting but Mora."

"Stan, I didn't tell you because I didn't want you overreacting."

"How long have you been seeing her?"

"Why does it matter?"

"It's important for me to know when you began..." Stan hesitated. "I just...I need to know what to fix."

"Huh? What are you talking about?"

Stan inhaled then exhaled before replying. "I'm not okay with it but I understand. Everyone seems to like you a lot anyways. It was only a matter of time before you found someone who cares for you more than me."

"Huh?"

"It's hard for me to process that you have a fling...still... Yeon, I'm not going to leave you so don't ask me to do that."

"A fling with Mora?" Yeon frowned at Stan's misunderstanding. He seemed upset that that's the first conclusion his fated would come to and still be willing to allow it happen, if that had been the case. "For someone who's always obsessive of me, you're surprisingly generous."

"You like her don't you?"

Yeon watched in awe, baffled by the conclusion his fated had come to and appeared convinced by his own speculations. He was short for words and didn't know whether to get angry or laugh about it that even despite how it appeared, there was no way he was going to reveal the truth. Nonetheless, a fling with Mora? No one else but Mora?

"I thought I had the upper hand above everyone else since I marked you...but still... there were complications... I mean, your eyes still change colour whenever you are with her just like when we are together..."

"Wait...stop..." Yeon tried to intervene but Stan seemed too bothered and lost in his own speculations to listen. He felt relieved to finally speak openly about what has bothered him for some time and if he wasn't going to speak of it now, he might never have the will to do it again.

"I'm the one who confessed to you first when you could have had feelings for someone else..." Stan stopped briefly, his mind on Niel and seemed to be unwilling to accept that reality to date. "Therefore, no matter how you feel about me now, please do not push me away. I can wait... I'll wait until you get over your feelings for her and come back to me."

"You actually think I'm cheating on you?!"

"Why else wound you be meeting Mora in secret and lying about it?"

"It's a personal matter!"

"Yeon, you've never kept secrets from me except this time."

"I'm not seeing Mora I promise you, I'm not cheating on you in fact, why would you think I was? It's really ridiculous if you ask me..."

"Then stop meeting her."

"If you promise to stop stalking me."

Stan averted his eyes and shrugged his shoulders. He contemplated on Yeon's denial of his assumptions and that provided him a brief sense of relief yet still, felt apprehensive about it. Halfheartedly, he agreed. "I promise."

That had been Stan's conversation with Yeon a few days ago and currently, he'd been standing outside Mora's grandmother's hotel where he'd stalked both Mora and his fated to. The fact that Yeon appeared intoxicated when they'd gotten in riled him up even more.

"How can he lie again? Doesn't he know how he is when he's that drunk and how much scent he lets out?"

Memories of an drunk lover crossed is mind and made his blood boil. The first being the night of his attack and the second when Yeon jumped him and rode him all night into a passionate oblivion.

"Fuck!"

He'd tried to follow them to the dedicated lift which led to Mora's penthouse but was denied entry and with his impulsive behavior, the security kicked him out seeming that he appeared rather suspicious and chaotic.

"What took you so long?" Looking behind a panting Niel, Stan inquired further. "I thought you were coming with Elric?

"I'm dealing with a situation of my own here." Niel appeared to have rushed to get there upon receiving a panic call from Stan. "He is in the car sleeping."

Stan checked his time and raised an eyebrow. "Now? Why did you bring him then if he is of no use?"

"Elric just got a tattoo but more importantly, are you sure Mora came here with Yeon?" Niel didn't want to dwell on his own share of problems. As per his plan with Elric, it was paramount that they stay vigilant whenever it came to Yeon and Mora being alone and enclosed, and Stan from finding out. This was the second time he'd ever called him in panic, the first being the time Yeon had newly moved in to stay with Stan and his parents.

"Yes I saw them myself get in here. When I tried to follow them, I was kicked out."

"Shit!" 'Yeon is supposed to meet Mora in open places. What was he thinking going back into the exact place that got him in trouble to begin with?'

"Exacty my thought! How can Yeon cheat on me after he promised not to see Mora again?"

'Is he still hellbent on this?' Niel threw Stan a confused look and was just about to burst out laughing but controlled himself. 'Did he just...' "You confronted him?" Niel asked, hoping Stan hadn't been silly enough to have done it.

"Of course I had to...and I told him I won't stalk him but if I didn't, I would have never seen them get in this hotel!" Stan began pacing about, his hands brushing across his hair frustratingly. "What they could be doing right now alone together..."

"Calm down..." Niel assured, looking back inside through the glass entrance. There appeared to have been a tight security especially after Stan's outraged outburst. 'Of course he'd get kicked out.' "We need to separate them somehow...but I'm sure Yeon is not doing what you're thinking."

"He told me he is going to see a friend again today and took a taxi instead to avoid me dropping him off. He lied!"

"You said you wouldn't snoop around Stan. He's gonna get upset if he finds out about this."

"I'm more upset than him! I told him I'll wait for him until he's done with his fling but this is just taking advantage..."

"You told him what?"

Stan stopped his pacing upon realising he'd let out too much information than necessary, especially to Niel who used to be Yeon's love interest. 'I only called him since Elric would just tease me about this but I can't trust him either way.' "Will you help me out of not?" Stan asked exasperatingly. "I couldn't think of anyone else to contact except you so you have to go in there and ask for Mora. You bringing Elric was pointless."

"I have her number, I can just call her instead and save us a whole lot of unecessary confrontations, but seriously, Yeon and her are not supposed to be left alone together."

"What do you think I've been trying to do?"

"Shut up, it's ringing..." Niel immediately stopped addressing Stan and focused on the call, relieved that Mora had picked up fast. "Hey Mora, what's up?"

"..."

"Where are you?"

"..."

"I needed to see you urgently. It's about Mijin."

"..."

"Loudspeaker....put her on loudspeaker!" Stan whispered closer to Niel's ear that Niel had to push him away and gestured for him to keep his mouth shut.

"Okay... Yea, sure. I'm not far from there... See you in a jiffy."

"What happened?" Stan asked immediately as soon as Niel hang up.

"They are coming down. She sounded rather drowsy and was panting heavily..."

"That bitch!"

"Stan calm your ass down! Lest they become suspicious we were spying...."

Stan suddenly took a step away from Niel while nodding his head. "Oh! You're right, but Yeon is going to get an earful from me!"

"I think it's the other way round."

"I don't care." Stan changed the subject. He despised the fact that Niel knew how Yeon was going to react far too well. "You said Elric got a tatoo?"

"He's been acting on impulse lately, sneaking in out in the middle of the night and..." Niel stopped speaking at the sight of Mora coming out through the lift with a half passed out Yeon slumped on her shoulder. One of the security staff took Yeon from her and Stan flinched at the sight of someone else's hand across Yeon's waist, Niel on the other hand wondered what could have lead Yeon to be in that state. He hoped it wasn't what he was thinking.

"What's up with him?" Stan hid further away from Mora's view then clenched his jaw and Niel looked at him, wondering to himself why he hadn't rushed towards Yeon.

'Perhaps he is asking me about Elric so he can control himself from acting without caution.' "He is pregnant. Don't you know?"

"What?" Stan's eyes flew wide open in shock. "Since when?"

"When was the last time you saw each other?"

"I don't remember, I think..." Stan jumped out from hiding as soon as Mora and Yeon stepped out from the entrance. "They're here!"

"Mora, over here!" Niel called out, waving his hand, trying to make it less obvious that they'd been spying but it seemed pretty late since Stan was impatient. He grabbed Yeon from the security and shot Mora a piercing look.

"What happened to him?" Niel asked, coming in between Stan and Mora, who only threw Stan a blank look.

"He complained of feeling dizzy so my place was closer and I brought him over to rest..."

"What happened to your hand?" Niel cut in and looked back at Stan, gesturing for him to take a passed out Yeon into his car but he appeared vindictive towards Mora and lingered.

"A little accident. I broke a glass while putting Yeon to rest. He is quite heavy for me hence the injury." Mora pointed at a cut on Yeon's left index finger. "I hope Stan can forgive me for hurting his fated, even tough it wasn't intentional."

"I'm leaving." Stan declared, unable to endure anymore sight of Mora.

"So, what is it about Mijin that you wanted to talk about?" Mora asked, dismissing the security that stood next to her.

"I think I should help out Stan with Yeon first..."

"Why are you really here?" Mora asked instantly, stopping Niel in his tracks. "Are you two following Yeon and I?"

Niel turned back to look at Mora and contemplated on whether to call her out or not, but then, he had to act amicably. He didn't want to ruin the plan therefore, he decided to go with Stan's ridiculous assumption. "Whatever you are doing with Yeon stop. It's not right. He is fated to Stan."

Mora burst out laughing. "You think Yeon and I..."

"Then what is it?"

"We do share a special bond I admit that. However, I'd never expected that Stan would be so insecure of his fated to think that."

"You are in a hotel with Yeon. If you two had nothing to hide, you could have met in an open place."

"How long have you two been following us. Or how long has Stan been thinking this way?"

"Both of us believe you two to be doing so. It's obvious you are the one coaxing Yeon into this."

"Oh please, don't make me laugh. You've known Yeon longer than Stan. I'm sure you're aware he wouldn't do something like that to anyone. He knows the pain of betrayal."

"Do not take us as fools. Yeon may not do it but you are known to be manipulative Mora. You may have trapped him into your web and who knows? He might end up leaving Stan in the end." Niel decided to buy time, flattering away Mora until both Stan and Yeon had gone far enough. He enjoyed the sight of Mora laughing, a reaction he was not used to since Mora always appeared timid in front of him.

'Has she really been putting an act all this while?' Niel thought to himself, remembering Elric's warnings about Mora being psychotic.

"You know that will be futile Mora, right? He is already marked and fated. How about you just focus on finding your own instead of meddling in other people's relationships."

"You really think I was going to take Yeon away?"

"Yes. It could be your plan with Mijin. She stands to benefit too since she has always had her eye on Stan."

Mora burst out laughing again, her uninjured hand on her lower abdomen as if she was enjoying the chaos she'd just caused. "Oh my! You don't look it but you are quite dumb." Turning to leave, she waved a goodbye at Niel. "Have a good night."

Niel glanced at Mora's poorly bandaged wrist. She seemed not to care that blood was still oozing from it. "Get that wound treated Mora. Despite what I think of you, I still want to see you well."

"Worry about yourself."
