Camp Training Part 1

"Okay, everyone's gathered right?" Aizawa said then all the students were watching him.

"First semester is over and it's time for summer vacation. But for those of you who want to be heroes, there's no time for you to relax. In this summer training camp, we want you to aim for the very top, which is plus ultra!!" Aizawa said.

"YES SIR!!".

When Uraraka and the others were excited to join his training camp, Haku fell silent as he watched them with a smile on his face. "Eh? Are there a lot of Class A students taking extra classes? Does that mean many of you failed the exam? Uh? That's weird isn't it? Weird, right? Though they should be better than class B? How could that be?" Exclaimed Monoma from class B who often mocks class A.

He stopped mocking when Kendo, the class president from class B hit his neck and passed out. "I'm sorry." Kendo said then dragged Monoma away.

"Alright, let's get on the bus everyone." Haku said.

While on the way, Aizawa-sensei said something, "Everyone, in about an hour the bus will stop once. After that…" Aizawa immediately fell silent when he saw that most of his students weren't listening and were having fun instead.

"What's wrong sensei? Looks like you want to say something. Hey everyone, calm down..." Haku said but he was not heard by the others.

"You guys…".

"It's okay, Yuki. Just let them. After all, this is the only time they can have fun." Aizawa said relentlessly.

'Hmm…. Suspicious. After descending, are we immediately tested?' Haku thought then looked back at the view from the window.

"Finally time to rest huh?" Denki asked as their bus stopped at a stop in the middle of the road.

All the students left because they felt tired from always sitting on the bus. Haku went to the edge of the cliff and took as much fresh air as possible. 'Back in my life, I never went on vacation to the village. Air without pollution is refreshing.' Haku thought as he stretched his body.

"By the way, where is the rest area?"

"Why? Where are the class B students?"

"Why do we stop if there's no reason?" Aizawa said.

"Huh??!"

Suddenly a black car came and stopped at the same place as them. Then 2 women in costumes got out of the car along with a little kid in a red hat who was pouting. After that, the two women introduced themselves as Wild Wild Pussycats, pro heroes who will be accompanying classes A and B for training.

Deku began to ramble about the pro hero group with enthusiasm and got a grip from Pixie Bob. "Everyone, say hello to them." Aizawa said.

"Pleased to cooperate with you!!!".

"This entire area is ours. You will camp at the foot of the mountain." said the mandalay while showing them their campsite.

"Then why do we stop here?" Uraraka asked.

"Haha, of course the training starts from here. We have to go to our campsite on our own feet. Right, Sensei?" guess Haku.

"No, no." Sero said he doubted it but in his heart he agreed with Haku's words.

"How about we just go back to the bus? Quickly." Sero said.

"You are right. Come on." Denki said.

"It's 9:30 in the morning. If you guys can hurry, maybe around noon?" said Mandalay with a sly smile.

"Shit guys…"

"Let's get back to the bus!!" yell Ashido then ran to the bus.

"Back to the bus!!" Kirishima exclaimed who was also running along with the others.

"Cats that can't make it to 12.30 don't get lunch!!" Mandalay exclaimed.

Everyone immediately ran except for Haku. "For those who want to be a good hero, there is no running away in training. If you want to become a strong and reliable hero, training is the only way to achieve that." Haku said a little loudly which made everyone immediately stop running and turned to Haku who was smiling at them.

The three pro heroes who heard this were also slightly shocked and surprised. But they all agreed with Haku's words. Haku then stood on top of the guardrail and formed hand seals.

"My job here is to make sure you guys grow and develop during this training. So, no matter what, you have to cross your limits here. Plus Ultra right?" Haku said and then made 10 bunshins that immediately came down from the cliff.

"Only cowards running from training!!" Haku exclaimed then made another hand seal and disappeared. Hearing this, the spirits of the others began to smolder.

"I AM NOT A COWARD!!! I WILL DO THIS TRAINING WHATEVER IT IS!!! PLUS ULTRA!!!" yelled Kirishima who immediately descended from the cliff. Then he was followed by the others.

"That kid, can change the minds of his friends with just a few words. What a smart kid." Aizawa muttered.

"Hey, Eraserheads. Is that kid you said already has above average abilities?" asked Mandalay.

"Yes. Yuki Haku. Fighting skills, strategizing, reading situations, all the skills needed to become a pro hero, are above average. He was probably already on the same level as Big 3 from class 3 UA. However, there is a little thing that makes me curious." Aizawa said.

"Hmm? What's that?" asked Mandalay, Pixie Bob also eavesdropping as she continued to observe the children below.

But not as fast and easy as this.

"Huft… Those dirt monsters are quite troublesome huh." Haku said to Mandalay, Pixie Bob, and Aizawa. The three fell silent while looking at Haku with admiration and suspicion at the same time.

"Yuki, how did you get here so fast? Your clothes don't even look dirty." Aizawa asked curiously.

"Ah… Actually I always avoided those dirt monsters because they weren't my main mission. The main mission of this training is to arrive at the campsite before 12.30. I prioritized that and left the monsters behind. So my journey is not hampered." Yuki said.

Seeing the three pro heroes who were silent made Haku anxious. "Is destroying the monsters part of the mission too?" He was worried that he might also have to destroy the dirt monsters to get here.

"Ahahahaha!!! You're really great!! 12.30 that was our record when we got together." said Pixie Bob while patting Haku on the shoulder happily.

"Hahaha… thank you very much miss for the compliment." Haku said which made Pixie Bob even more happy with Haku.

"Since you arrived before lunch time, you can have lunch later. Now get your things on the bus and rest inside." Aizawa said.

"Okay, Aizawa-sensei." Haku said then went to the bus to pick up his little luggage.

When he arrived at the break room, some of Haku's bunshins had disappeared because they had finished circling the surroundings well.

"Wow… the Pussycats area is wide. So the pro hero is pretty well established huh, if you're in a good rank. Was my choice to become a hero is the right one?" Haku muttered then exited and returned to where Aizawa and the Pussycats were.

When Haku saw the little boy in the red hat again, he walked over to him, "Oh, I haven't met you yet. I'm Yuki Haku. Nice to meet you." Haku said while smiling at the little boy in the red hat.

But the boy just kept silent while looking at Haku with hatred. When the boy wanted to hit Haku, Haku quickly moved behind the boy which surprised the boy.

Now Haku had bent down so he could see the boy's face up close without taking the gentle smile off his face. "Oh, that's my nephew. Kouta, greet properly." Mandalay said.

"I don't want to hang out with you guys who want to be heroes." Said the boy while looking straight into Haku's eyes.

"Oh, I see. Then take it easy boy, I'm still unsure whether I want to be a hero or not." Haku said while still smiling which left Mandalay, Pixie-Bob, Aizawa, and Kouta speechless.

"Why? Then why did you go to UA?" asked the confused Kouta.

"At first I entered because my uncle wanted me to go to school. But as time went on, I also made up my mind to help my friends become stronger quickly." Haku replied.

"Why did you do such a troublesome thing? You have no obligation to do that, do you?" asked Kouta again.

"I had a promise with a close friend of mine, that I would use this power of mine for good. I lost both my parents when I was 4 years old. They were killed right before my eyes. Then after that, I was forced to become a shinobi. There are no good memories from my childhood. But after being saved by my uncle, I feel very grateful. So I want to return the favor by living well here. Therefore, I will help them so that they can survive in this world even if I am not near them." Haku said which made everyone silent especially Kouta who looked very shocked by Haku's story.

"S…sorry that I reminded you of a bad memory." Kouta said regretfully.

Haku just smiled gently then patted Kouta's shoulders gently, Kouta looked back into Haku's eyes which looked very sincere and kind. "No problem. I don't think about that anymore now." Haku said.

Because of the awkward atmosphere, Mandalay tried to change the subject. "Hey, you two. How about you two have lunch first? It's time to eat. We'll catch up later." Mandalay said.

"Thank you, Mandalay. Kouta, let's eat together." Invite Haku then pull his little hand inside. Kouta could only obey.

When the two of them had taken their food and sat across from each other, they started their lunch in silence. Then when lunch was going on and the adults still hadn't appeared, Kouta asked Haku. "Yu…Yuki-san, why did you accept your bad past like that? Don't you ever hate or hold grudges against people who have taken the people you love?" asked Kouta.

"The situation at that time was difficult, after all, the killer is gone. So there is no need to spend energy by hating or holding grudges. Both things will self-destruct. And I actually had a hard time accepting the past, but over time, I was finally able to come to terms with my heart and accept the reality that had happened."

"Both of my parents were also killed by a villain while working as a hero. I don't understand why people are praising their actions. They left me here alone." Kouta said.

Haku was silent when he heard that. "Kouta, do you hate the person who killed your parents?"

"Of course. He's the one who took my mom and dad from me!!"

"Are you going to take revenge on him?"

"In my opinion, you can avenge the villain's actions, if you have enough strength to defeat him. But, it's better to give up your intention to take revenge when you have no power at all. You can hate and not forgive the villain, but you can't hold a grudge against him, because revenge will only destroy yourself."

"What's the difference between hate and revenge?" asked Kouta.

"Hate and revenge are different Kouta. If you meet someone you hate, then you will choose to stay away from him and leave him. You won't care about him anymore. But if you have a grudge against him, when you see that person your blood will boil and you will feel angry. That feeling is what breaks your body, Kouta. If that feeling keeps haunting you, then you will never be able to think with a cool head or think properly." Haku said.

"Then what should I do with my feelings? You must understand right? Because you are the same as me." Kouta said.

"Be patient Kouta. You need time to recover from those feelings. For now, all you can do is live the best you can here. Make friends who will support you in good times and bad. If you can't, just strengthen your relationship with the people who live with you here. Those who are more mature who love you, will definitely guide you well. And someday, you will definitely meet someone who will change your life. Like me with my uncle for example. He was the one who saved me, so he is the one who changed the destiny of my life." Haku said.

Kouta was silent to digest all of Haku's words thoroughly. Haku just looked at Kouta patiently with a gentle smile. Haku also realized that Aizawa, Pixie-Bob, and Mandalay had been eavesdropping on the two of them talking, but Haku let them listen.

'Does he intend to save Kouta from his hatred for the killers of his parents?' Aizawa thought.

'Thank you for saying that, Yuki-kun. Maybe the one who will change Kouta's life is you.' thought Mandalay.

After finishing eating, Haku came out of the house and decided to do a little battle practice with his own bunshin near the front of the camp house. He made 3 bunshin which then immediately attacked him in turn. It takes a lot of effort to defeat all of his bunshins because Haku's bunshin has the same ability and strength as Haku when the number of bunshins is no more than 20.

'To strengthen my bunshin, I also have to become stronger myself.' Haku thought then climbed onto the roof of the house. and started to collect nature chakra but previously he made 3 bunshin just in case.

But even until the day becomes evening, he still can't make Sage mode. 'Hah, it's impossible without a mentor huh? Should I just ask uncle? He has the fourth Hokage's signature scroll. "You, where have you been?" asked Aizawa.

"I was up there. I'm trying to learn a new fighting technique. But I haven't made any progress even though I've been practicing since the USJ incident. I think I need a mentor to learn the technique." Haku said.

"Oi Haku!!! Since when did you get here?" Sato asked.

"I arrived an hour after we started training." Haku said while smiling at his comrades who were battered with dirt and sweat.

"What a cheat." Kirishima said.

"You guys are too fixated on fighting those monsters before advancing. That's your fault. You should be able to fight with the aim of avoiding the monster and running here. No need to destroy the monster, just hurt it until it can't move anymore. Injure it's leg if the monster walks on land. Injure it's wings if the monster flies. "How do you know all that?" asked Midoriya.

"Because I sent one of my bunshins to watch over you guys." Haku said which annoyed everyone.

"Then why don't you help us? You must have seen how hard we fought to get here. If you had come to help, we would have been able to get through this much easier." Sato said.

"If you can get through it easily, it's not training. Training is done to exert all one's abilities to the limit to exceed the limit. That way you will grow stronger." Haku said.

"But, it was also possible to practice cooperation, right?" Midoriya said.

"Cooperation is only carried out by people who are equally strong. Weak people who want to cooperate with strong people will only become a burden." Haku said.

"I'm just telling the truth." Haku said which made his friends surprised because Haku was already behind them.

"Why did you say such a cruel thing?" asked Ochaco.

"Because I've been through it." Haku said which took everyone by surprise.

Then Haku told the story while walking towards the camping house among his friends. "In the past, I was the same as you guys, having a burning spirit, attaching importance to cooperation, upholding good friendship. However, all of that was lost when I lost my shinobi friends on the battlefield."

"At that time, my mentor and 11 of my friends were practicing by the river. Suddenly we were attacked by another group of ninja. Since the enemy was too strong for us who were 7 years old at the time, our mentor stayed behind to block the group and let us escape to the village."

"But one of us didn't want to leave our mentor alone. He also wanted to fight with him. It also sparked the enthusiasm of others, including me. Finally we came back and fought with our mentor. At first it looks good because the enemy is getting overwhelmed. But when one of my friends started to die, it affected the spirits of my friends and that was taken advantage of by the enemy."

"One by one my friends were killed and in the end I was the only one left because I was the strongest of them all. Reinforcements from our village also came because they heard there was a riot in our place which finally saved me and my mentor." Haku said which took everyone by surprise.

"I tell my experiences not because I want to be pitied. But because I want you to learn from my past mistakes and prevent the worst from happening to you. You understand right?" asked Haku.

"I don't know you have a past like that." Midoriya muttered, starting to get sad.

"I'm sorry for saying that. I didn't know you had such a bad past." Ochaco said.

Haku smiled softly as he said. "Doesn't matter. I hope you can take the point of my story well. Now, you guys eat first. You must be very hungry, right? Skipping lunch while continuing to use your quirks like that." Haku said changing the topic.

"Ah!!! You are right!!! I'm so hungry again!!! It feels like I want to die!!!" Kirishima exclaimed trying to distract the others as well and because he was really tired and hungry.

Finally the others were distracted, Aizawa told them to get their things first before going in and having dinner. At dinner, everyone devoured the food on their table. While jokingly laughing, Haku smiled seeing this. 'Hope they can keep laughing like this. I want to protect their smiles.' Haku thought and then joined the others to eat.

After dinner, everyone went to bathe in a separate open-air onsen. Everyone immediately relaxed when they entered the hot water, including Haku. He immediately leaned against the rock and closed his eyes. "I haven't relaxed like this in a long time." Haku muttered tiredly.

Next to him was Midoriya who looked like he wanted to talk to Haku.

"Haku..." Midoriya called.

"Yes?" replied Haku who kept his eyes closed.

"I understand what you said this afternoon about the weak who only become a burden to the strong when they work together. But, I feel there is more to it than that. What's the reason you don't want to cooperate with us?" Midoriya asked.

"Hm… I have several reasons. First, I myself do not need to cooperate with you. The reason is that I'm a shinobi, even if I become a pro hero, my job will definitely demand me for a quiet job that requires few people to do it. So, I don't think there's any point in practicing cooperation with you or anyone else. Second, I've thought about our enemy's tactics if one day we are on the battlefield. "The closer one is to another, the harder it is to let go when one of them dies. I have lost both my parents, my best friend, and my childhood friends. I am afraid that in the future I will not be able to endure the pain of being abandoned by the person I love again. Therefore, if I keep my distance from you, then you will have few memories of me so that if I had left you first, you would not have been hurt so much, nor would I have been so hurt when you left me." Haku replied which made Midoriya speechless.

When they finished talking, Haku immediately stood up and was about to leave the pool. At the same time, Mineta who was about to peek by climbing the wall was blocked by Kouta and fell on top of Iida. And not long after, Kouta who slipped also fell. Haku who saw this quickly immediately used Shunshin no Jutsu to catch Kouta and stood on the wall.

"Kouta..." called Haku which Kouta didn't answer because he had passed out. Haku immediately took Kouta to Mandalay for treatment. Then he himself said goodbye to change into clean clothes and went to his room to rest.

Before going to sleep, Haku makes 10 bunshins to maintain security and patrol around the Pussycats area. Now, Haku's bunshin has increased in ability. If you don't use any jutsu, Haku's bunshin can last for 5 hours. That way, Haku can sleep soundly even in a strange place like now.
