Yuki Haku's Past

After the fierce battle, that day Haku slept until the evening in his dorm room. Eri who saw Haku's fight on TV became very worried and always accompanied Haku in his room. She didn't want to leave until she saw Haku woke up. Haku's three wives are also in the Class 1-A dormitory to take turns looking after Haku and Eri.

Most of the 1-A students are very worried about Haku's condition, but Sasaki reassures them to calm down because Haku's condition is safe. Of course all the 1-A students watched Haku's fight from the beginning to end. They were completely shocked and enthralled by the fight last night. It's really nerve-wracking and emotionally draining, especially when All Might's emaciated form is seen publicly and when the medical team tries hard to keep Haku alive.

Because in Haku's body now there is Kurama, the regeneration of his body is faster than ordinary humans. When Haku woke up, Eri burst into tears and hugged him tightly. So did Haku's three wives. All of his friends were very happy that Haku had finally woken up. When Sato brought the food, Haku ate it voraciously.

"You eat so well, Yuki-kun." Midoriya said happily.

"Well, last night's fight was really tough for me. Several times I feel like I want to die from running out of chakra or exhaustion, or because of the Kyuubi's stab. It was so hard to stay awake when the medical team tried to keep me breathing. They did their job very well. I have to thank them in person tomorrow. Thanks to their hard work, I can still live." Haku said.

"You really made us breathless here, Yuki-san." Yaoyorozu said.

"Haha…sorry." Haku said.

"Anyway, what's the matter with you? You can summon three wolf monsters that can defeat the Nine-headed serpent monster. Then you can also create a white semi-transparent figure and bring all the hostages out of the kekkai safely and then collaborate with All Might and Endeavor to defeat the Nine-Tailed Fox. Then you coolly sacrificed to save All Might. You really are a true hero!!! I am jealous of you!!" Mineta exclaimed.

Hearing that, Haku immediately smiled sadly. "I am not…".

"Don't tell me you're not a hero, Haku. All the efforts you have done so far are not according to your words. You always do heroic things that even most heroes can't do. You saved many people and defeated the enemy with all your might. You always try to sacrifice yourself to save the people around you. But you always say you're not a hero." Todoroki said.

"What Todoroki-kun said is true. Why do you always say you're not a hero? Can't you tell us?" asked Iida which made everyone curious.

Haku was silent. He then smiled and stroked Eri's hair who had been sitting beside him. "Eri, go back to the teacher's dormitory. It was already night. You must be tired of always taking care of me here, right? You can rest now." Haku said softly.

"Eh… But I want to be here with you." Eri said sadly.

Haku smiled gently and said, "Thank you for trusting me and worrying about me, Eri. But you can't be sick either. I'll be sad if you get sick because you're tired of taking care of me. Tomorrow we will play together, so go and sleep, okay?"

Eri's face immediately lit up when Haku said he would play together tomorrow. "Is that true? Promise me?" said Eri while holding out her little finger.

"Promise. We will play to our heart's content tomorrow." Haku said then hooked his little finger to Eri's little finger. Then after that Eri went home with Haku's three wives.

"Let's just talk in the living room. Besides, I can't hide this any longer from you guys. Sooner or later, you guys will also have to fight with shinobi like me out there." Haku said then stood up and took an ancient scroll from his bookshelf.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now in the living room of the 1-A dormitory already gathered Aizawa, All Might, Nezu, Tsukauchi, Zabuza, and all the students of class 1-A. Haku sat on the chair facing everyone and Zabuza walked over to him. "Are you really going to do this?" asked Zabuza.

Haku nodded and smiled sadly at Zabuza. "Sorry uncle. Even though uncle has worked hard here to prepare a place to live for us to live happily. But I destroyed it instead." Haku said sadly.

Zabuza was also sad, not because the results of his hard work were destroyed by Haku, but because he didn't know that Haku had always harbored feelings of guilt when he had to live like an ordinary person when he himself was a sinner. "No. I'm the one who should apologize. I don't think about how you feel when you have to stay here. You are not like me, your heart is too kind to forget all your mistakes. Forgive me." Zabuza said while stroking Haku's hair gently.

As if the wall that held back all his feelings was shattered, Haku's tears immediately flowed down. Haku looked down because he couldn't look at everyone. While crying silently, Haku covered his eyes with his arm. Zabuza finally took over the topic of this conversation. He took the scroll Haku was holding and gave it to Tsukauchi.

"What's this?" Tsukauchi asked as he accepted the scroll.

"That is the origin of shinobi like us and Orochimaru." Zabuza said then Tsukauchi opened it and read it.

"Tsukauchi-kun, can you read it aloud so everyone can hear it?" asked Nezu.

"All right, principal. This is a story about the origin of the village of Kirigakure. Before humans with special powers existed, Shinobi already existed in the world and became the most sought-after paid workers in the world. Many hired shinobi when things were still difficult because of the flexibility of the shinobi. Then when humans with special powers began to appear and the population grew, the shinobi became isolated and threatened. That's because the government considers shinobi to be a dangerous people because their power is not a special power like them. Their power will always exist in every generation and will never become extinct. Unlike special powers that can be different from the genes of their parents or even have no special powers at all. And the special powers that exist aren't always the fighter type while the shinobi will always be the fighter."

"This also made the government of that era afraid of the existence of shinobi. They were afraid that the shinobi would attack them. Because of that, they attacked the existing shinobi villages. The weak shinobi village, crumbled at their hands and the survivors began living in hiding from the general public. Because of the war with the government, the shinobi population decreased by half. Then a few decades later, the surviving shinobi merged into one and formed a small nation. They've made a promise that they won't attack a special power society without cause and close their small country from the outside world."

"However, the humans with special powers still couldn't trust shinobi and finally the shinobi massacre happened again decades ago. However, this time, it wasn't the government that did it, but rather a group of heinous criminals who wanted to enslave the shinobi and research them. Those who resist will be killed. The shinobi who surrendered and became slaves to the group of bad guys called themselves the Fuma Clan. While the shinobi who did not want to submit and managed to escape, went back into hiding and formed a village in the middle of the forest. The name of the village is Kirigakure Village." Tsukauchi explained then lowered the scroll.

Now everyone was silent as they tried to digest all the shocking information. "So… so… you mean, the powers of Yuki-kun, Masami-san, Sasaki-san, Hanami-san, and Zabuza-san aren't quirks?" asked Midoriya.

"Yes. In short so. We shinobi can't have quirks, instead, our power will always be there from generation to generation." Zabuza said.

"I can prove it if you don't believe me." Haku said then looked at Aizawa when he was done crying.

"Haku.."

"Aizawa-sensei, try to erase this jutsu of mine." Haku said then made a rasengan in his right hand. Aizawa was silent for a moment before finally using his quirk to erase Haku's jutsu.

And everyone was surprised when Aizawa activated his quirk and saw Haku, Haku's jutsu was still there and didn't disappear. "So it's not a quirk." Aizawa said then deactivated his quirk.

"Yes. Our power cannot be erased or taken away. That's why the government is very afraid of us. And we also have to live in hiding so that our people are no longer slaughtered by quirk users." Haku said.

"Then, what does all that have to do with your words of always refusing to be called a Hero?" asked Kirishima.

"Initially, the village of Kirigakure lived on farming, gardening, and raising livestock. I know because I was born 40 years after Kirigakure was founded. But when the village leaders change to the next generation, everything changes. They restarted the dirty work that shinobi used to do, namely being mercenaries. In other words, the shinobi in Kirigakure all had to do the work assigned to them. Whatever the type of work, even killing, must be obeyed." Zabuza said which gave everyone goosebumps.

Some people finally realized the meaning of Zabuza's words. "Don't tell me…" Uraraka said while covering her mouth in shock.

"I ran away from the village before their decision took effect in the village and I didn't know about it. But Haku is different from me. He was forced to become a shinobi and be their hired hand for 5 years, all by himself." Zabuza said.

Everyone immediately looked at Haku who was looking down. "From here on, let me take over." Haku said in a different voice, his voice heavier and harsher. When Haku raised his head, everyone was shocked as Haku's eyes turned red with fox-like pupils.

"That voice, Kyuubi? What did you do to Haku's body?!" Zabuza said.

"Calm down big boy. Haku himself asked me to take over from here on out. He said he couldn't bear to speak for himself. So I will tell you about it. I know all of Haku's past and I understand his feelings very well, so only I can speak for him." Said the Kyuubi who possessed Haku.

"I see. I can't blame him then." Zabuza said.

"Let me tell you from the start. Err… but it looks like it would be troublesome. So I'm going to show it straight to you. Don't fight back. I won't bite you." Kyuubi said then from inside Haku's body appeared red chakra which then enveloped Haku's body. Kyuubi then moved his tail chakra to everyone.

"Touch my chakra and you will be able to see Haku's heart." Kyuubi said then everyone touched the Kyuubi chakra. Instantly their bodies shrouded in Kyuubi's chakra as well.

"It's warm..." said Uraraka.

"Now, close your eyes so you can focus on Haku's memories." Kyuubi said then all of them closed their eyes.

All of them now stand in a beautiful snowy village. Kyuubi in the form of Haku also spoke, "Follow me. We're going to Haku's house." Kyuubi said then walked while the others followed him from behind.

They saw many villagers passing by with their respective activities. There are gardening, raising livestock, making clothes, there are also shinobi walking leisurely there. Everyone was wearing the same uniform that Haku was currently wearing. They continued walking until they reached the edge of the village, which was deserted. As they were walking at the edge of the forest, they heard something approaching. The sound of a small child running screaming with joy and a young man trying to catch the little boy.

When the little boy came out of the forest, everyone was surprised to see that the little boy looked so much like Haku. And when the young man who was chasing him appeared, everyone was surprised again because the young man looked so much like Zabuza.

"Za…zabuza, what is that…" said a speechless Tsukauchi.

"Well, it was me and Haku. I remember this. This is our last game before I leave the village. At that time I was 15 years old and Haku was 4 years old." Zabuza said while watching himself catch the little Haku. A smile appeared on Zabuza's stiff face.

"Gotcha!" Zabuza exclaimed when he caught Haku.

"Ahhh!!! Uncle caught me. Ahahahaha!!!" Haku exclaimed happily.

"How many times have I told you. Don't call me uncle! I'm still young!!" Zabuza said while tickling Haku.

"Ahahahahaha!!! Stop it! It's tickled!! Ahahaha!!" Haku said surrender.

"So cute." Tsuyu said when she saw the little Haku.

"You're right. He looks so happy." Uraraka said.

Then, his memory turned to fog and became clear again with the memory of when Zabuza left the village and Haku. Haku was clearly very sad because he lost his playmate. The young Zabuza who saw this knelt in front of Haku and said, "Don't worry. When I'm successful out there, I'll pick you up and we can live out there together. I promise." While holding up his little finger.

"Okay. Promise." Haku said then linked the pinky promise with Zabuza.

Then the memory continues to the scene when Haku was playing in the snow alone in front of the house. Suddenly, Haku awakens the power of his kekkei genkai which is to control water at will. Haku also looked happy and immediately ran to the house to show it to his mother.

When Haku showed his new strength to his mother, his mother was immediately shocked and slapped Haku so hard that Haku fell down. Everyone was very surprised by that scene because they didn't think that Haku's meek mother could be so rude to Haku.

Haku's mother immediately scolded Haku with panic and fear. She forbade Haku to use his powers again in front of people and Haku was shocked by that too. But unfortunately Haku's father saw all that and immediately ran somewhere.

"Why did Haku's mother react like that? She looked very panicked and scared." Yaoyorozu said.

"That's because of the many kekkei genkai clans in Kirigakure, the Yuki Clan's kekkei genkai abilities are the most dangerous because they can manipulate the water around them. You can imagine how strong the Yuki Clan with water manipulation powers would become if they fought in Kirigakure." Kyuubi said.

"Right. Haku will be hard to beat since the whole village is covered in snow which is to his advantage." Todoroki said.

Then the scene continues at night, Haku's father comes home with several shinobi in tow and carrying weapons. They wanted to kill Haku because he was considered dangerous. Haku's mother died while trying to protect Haku who wanted to be killed.

"DAAD!!! STOP!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING, DAD?!!! DON'T!! MOTHER!! MOTHER, WAKE UP!!!" cried little Haku while crying profusely because his mother was killed right in front of his eyes. His mother's blood was also splashed all over Haku's clothes and face. The terrified Haku begged his father to stop.

"DAAADD!!!!" Haku exclaimed as his father drew his sword to slash Haku. Suddenly, a giant chunk of ice appeared from Haku's hand and froze his father and all the shinobi in his house. His house was also destroyed by the ice.

"AHH!!! NOOO!!! FORGIVE ME!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO?!! DAAADD!! MOTHER!!! HUWAAA!!!" Haku burst into tears as he hugged his lifeless mother.

Everyone was very shocked by Haku's terrible memory. Especially Zabuza who was seeing Haku's memories for the first time. Even though he had been told by Haku, however, he never knew what exactly happened. While holding back his tears and anger, Zabuza fell silent and clenched his fists very hard.

Then it continues to the memory of when Haku was taken to the dungeon and chained to his neck, both hands and feet. He was treated worse than farm animals. He was only fed once a day, that was leftover food. And sometimes not even fed for several days. Because of that, Haku tried to survive by eating the mud that was outside his cell.

Everyone was of course shocked by this inhuman treatment. They didn't expect that Haku's life would become so miserable and painful the moment he awakened his power. Blood started pouring from Zabuza's hands because he was too strong in clenching his fists. His emotions had peaked and even everyone around him could feel his killing aura.

"Haku never told me about this. How dare they treat Haku like this. How dare they…!!" Zabuza said while holding back his emotions that were about to explode.

"Zabuza, I know how you feel. But, there's no use getting angry now. It all happened in the past." Said Tsukauchi who was also angry with this treatment of Haku who was even so small. Aizawa, All Might, and Nezu also felt the same anger as Zabuza. They never thought that their students had experienced something as cruel and bad as this.

"I know it." Zabuza said.

'I should have killed them slowly.' Zabuza thought.

"This treatment is even worse than the one I was subjected to." Nezu said.

Then the memories continued when Haku began to be trained to become an assassin shinobi. The training given to Haku was harsh compared to other young shinobi. If he wrong, Haku will be whipped on his back. If he disobeys orders, he will also be flogged and deprived of food. The chain was always around his neck and his hands and feet. He was always watched so as not to run away.

"They are so cruel. The other children were not treated like this. Why did Haku have to accept all that punishment?" Iida asked.

"That's because Haku killed his father and many Kirigakure shinobi the night his mother was killed. At that time, the shinobi in Kirigakure had run out and Haku killed several of them at once though accidentally. Even the elders certainly did not accept it, but they saw the potential of Haku who could be a great weapon for them. So they trained Haku very hard while discriminating against him for being the assassin of a fellow Kirigakure shinobi. They want to discourage Haku and kill his feelings so he can become a perfect shinobi." Kyuubi said.

"A perfect shinobi?" asked Midoriya.

"A perfect shinobi is who always obeys orders and rules regardless of their form. Never ask questions, never complain, have no emotions, always carry out orders perfectly without the slightest flaw. In short, a perfect shinobi is like a fighting robot ready to die for a mission." Kyuubi said. Everyone shuddered in horror at the thought of Haku being trained to become such a human robot.

Then a year of hard training, Haku's expression began to fade and cold. The chains also began to be removed because Haku was no longer fighting and always obeying. He began to be given missions by the elders from easy to difficult. And everyone was surprised when Haku received so many assassination missions from the elders. From an outsider's point of view, then Haku looks like a cold heartless killing machine.

But when everyone saw from Haku's side, they could understand that Haku didn't want to do any of those things. Every time after he killed someone, he always cried and apologized to the people he had killed. He felt very guilty and very sad because of his powerlessness to fight the elders. Every night, Haku always questions the meaning of his life and apologizes to those he has killed.

Then there is also the memory of when Haku wanted to kill himself with harakiri. However, just before he stabbed his sword into his stomach, he remembered his promise with Zabuza. "Uncle Zabuza, you will definitely pick me up here right? When will you come? I don't want to do this until I die. Help me. Uncle. Help me. Please." Haku said between sobs.

Seeing this, most of the students burst into tears and the adults fell silent. Zabuza who couldn't contain his emotions ended up crying silently. He felt very sorry for not being able to pick up Haku sooner.

Then a year later, he met Sasaki, Masami, and Hanami. Even though he was suffering himself, Haku still smiled at the three of them. And since then, the four of them often met and rested together when the practice was over. It was only when he met the three that Haku could smile. Sometimes, Haku also teaches the three of them to fight and survive well in the wild. The relationship between the four of them is getting closer as time goes by.

Then the memories continue again when Haku gets a team and teachers who cares about him. His sadness began to be covered by the kindness of his teammates and teachers who were kind to him. But the fun didn't last long, because soon all of Haku's teammates were killed by another attacking shinobi who turned out to be an Otogakure shinobi. Haku didn't remember the details himself because he was too shocked by the loss of his friends.

"So, what Haku told us during the training camp was true." Jiro said.

Then the memories continued when Haku got a partner for the mission. The two of them became very close and became friends quickly because of his partner who was very understanding to Haku. But his partner was soon killed during a mission with Haku.

"Ukai, what should I do?" Haku said as he hugged the dying Ukai.

"Haku… You are strong. You have the power to fight anything you don't want. If you don't like it, then fight it. Just do what you think is right. In this world, the strong will lead the weak. If you have power, then you can change everything. But, try to use your power to help good people. Use your power to protect the people you love. Don't use it for evil anymore. It is your way to penetrate all your sins. Use your power for justice. That way, your heart will be calmer." Ukai said then breathed his last. Haku was crying profusely while hugging his dead friend.

Since then, Haku's eyes, which had been covered with despair, began to see a glimmer of light and hope. "I understand Ukai. I won't use my powers to kill innocent people anymore. I will use my strength to help the weak. I will use my power for the good of everyone. Because that is my way to penetrate all my sins. You don't have to worry anymore, I'll do my best." Haku said in front of the grave of Ukai, his best friend.

Then the memories continued when Haku finally reunited with Zabuza and asked for help to be rescued from the village. Then the memories continued when Kisame, Suigetsu, and Mangetsu gathered with Haku and Zabuza. They were getting ready to slaughter the elders and evil shinobi in Kirigakure Village.

"Haku, you don't have to go on this mission. You've fought enough. Leave the rest to us." Zabuza said.

"No uncle. I don't want uncle to also bear the sin just because of me. I will also bear the same sin as uncles and aniki." Haku said.

"But, we were indeed assassins from the start, Haku. Even increasing the number of people we killed would mean nothing to us. Moreover, the ones we are going to kill right now are those stupid arrogant elders. Even if you don't ask for it, we will sooner or later come back here and finish off those people." said Suigetsu.

"But now you have come because of a request from me. I will feel guilty if you have to kill people because of me. Because of that, I will also come." Haku said stubbornly.

"But Haku..."

"Leave it alone, Zabuza. Haku already said like this, we can't do anything else. Besides, I can't refuse a request from my cute nephew." Kisame said.

"Kisame.."

"Thank you, Uncle Kisame." Haku said happily while hugging Kisame like a child given a new toy by his uncle. Zabuza also put on a defeated face when he saw Haku who was already happy like that.

"Hahaha… Haku is cute huh. We can't refuse any request from him." Mangetsu said while stroking Haku's head gently.

"Urgh… alright. Let's do it together." Zabuza said.

Together with Kisame, Suigetsu, and Mangetsu, the five of them slaughtered all the evil elders in the village and destroyed everything. The innocent they released and gave orders to live mingle with the wider community and not to use their powers at all to be safe.

Then the memory finally reached Haku who moved to Musutafu and lived with Zabuza. And when he was about to enter the UA, they saw the last memory before it was all over. Haku was standing in front of a large mirror in his UA uniform.

"Do I deserve to go to school in a place like that? A killer like me? If they find out that I am a killer, will they hate me?" asked Haku while looking at the mirror.

He then chuckled, "What did I say? Of course they will hate me. Nobody wants to be friend with a killer like me. They would definitely be disgusted if I was around them. But, if I want to penetrate all my sins, will they accept me? If I help people, will they forgive me? Can I be forgiven, if I become a Hero, and help many people, as much as I killed people in the past?" asked Haku sadly.

"Will I be able to achieve my goals? Living happily with uncle, Sasaki, Hanami, Masami, Uncle Kisame, Suigetsu aniki, and Mangetsu aniki? A killer like me… is it right to ask for such a life?" asked Haku desperately.

"Forgive me. But can you let me live like the other kids? It's only temporary. Let me enjoy the life that has been prepared by uncle. At least, I really want to feel the happiness of ordinary people's simple life. Please forgive my selfishness. Until I penetrate all my sins. I don't mind if I have to die afterwards. But, let me penetrate my sins first." Haku said then tried to smile.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Haku's memory ended and everyone returned to the original world. Everyone was silent then looked at Haku who was sleeping while crying. Zabuza was beside him to hold him from falling.

"How can Haku still smile at us when he has gone through all that suffering? If I were him, I wouldn't be able to live a life like this." Uraraka said who was still sobbing.

"The guilt and desire to penetrate his sins is obvious." Tokoyami said.

"I didn't expect that Haku had such a dark past. How can he survive all that suffering and keep smiling at us all the time?" asked Sato.

"So when he says that his motives for being a hero are different from ours is this." Todoroki said.

"Yes. It must be because he wants to pierce through his sins and the reason he doesn't want to be called a hero is because of his past of being a killer." Midoriya said sadly.

"Zabuza, so the reason you don't want to be a Hero too..." Tsukauchi also remembers that Zabuza always refuses offers to become a Hero with the answer, 'I have no right to be a hero.'.

"Yes. I feel like a killer like me has no right to be a hero or to be adored by people. Being a policeman and helping people is my way of breaking through my sins. I'm sorry for lying to you all this time, Tsukauchi. I don't mind if Haku and I are sentenced to death after this. We've talked about it and are prepared for all the consequences when we're done telling you all about this. But, can you grant our last wish before being punished?" asked Zabuza.

"The last wish?"

"Yes. We want to end our business with Orochimaru first. From the start he was one of us and as shinobi, we are obliged to stop Orochimaru before he goes any further. The laws of this land don't apply to us shinobi. Even if Orochimaru is detained in Tartarus, he will still be able to escape because his power is not a quirk like the current society. In shinobi life there is only one rule, 'Kill or be killed'. A shinobi have their own goals and will not stop until their goals are achieved or die. So, we also have to end our fight by killing Orochimaru and all his men. Everything will be over after we defeat Orochimaru and his group. And if it's all over and we're still alive, we'll gladly accept even the death penalty." Zabuza said.

Everyone was silent after hearing Zabuza's words. Now finally they all know the secret of Haku and Zabuza. The students began to look at Haku not with disgust, but with respect, sympathy, sadness, admiration, pride, and others. They never thought that Haku was disgusting because he was a killer. Everyone knew that Haku killed someone not because he wanted to, but because he had to. Everyone can understand Haku's feelings and can accept Haku as he is.

"It's true what you guys did in the past was a very bad thing. But that is the past. Now, you are trying to correct that and trying to penetrate your sins by protecting others from evil. In my opinion, that is something that deserves appreciation and support. Because not everyone can fix their mistakes in the past and keep doing the same thing until now. Especially in the case of Yuki Haku-kun, he did all that out of compulsion. He has a pure heart for good. His feelings of guilt and regret must have weighed heavily on him that it was hard for him to feel happiness. Poor boy." Nezu said.

"I agree with principal Nezu. I am currently feeling very proud and admiring for Young Yuki, because after all that he has been through since childhood, he can still keep his heart from dying and falling into despair. Most people will immediately go crazy, despair and even become a bad person after experiencing all these bad things. But Young Yuki managed to endure all that and remained a good boy. He had fought very hard on his own. Therefore, I also want to support him to make penance for his sins." All Might said.

"Despite growing up in such a bad environment, Yuki can still tell the difference between good and bad. He restrains all his emotions and ego so that he remains a good person. While teaching him, I never once saw him give up on protecting people who needed help. He always tries his best to save everyone he can reach even to the point of sacrificing his life. I might not be as strong as Yuki. That kid is really strong." Aizawa said.

"As a police officer, I should have arrested both of you right now because you have shown your memories and confessed that you are murderers. However, even so, it will still be difficult to convict you because it happened many years ago and it is uncertain whether the evidence is still there or not." Tsukauchi said.

"Ah, sorry Tsukauchi. At that time we immediately destroyed the evidence that could trace us because of our instincts as shinobi." Zabuza said casually.

"You... listen to me to the end. But as friends, as good citizens. I really appreciate and support your desire to penetrate your sins and to receive punishment after the crimes you committed in the past. Indeed, not many people can improve themselves even after serving a sentence though. People like you are what this country needs. People who are willing to admit their mistakes, apologize, and get past their mistakes by doing good things. Personally, I support your intentions with all my heart." Tsukauchi said.

"Tsukauchi..."

"What do you think of Class A? Can you accept Haku as he is and want to stay with him here? Or should we take him to the police?" asked Nezu.

"How could we see him as a villain? He was just a victim of the elders in his village. He was forced to work for them in order not to be killed. Haku, when he was supposed to be playing with his friends, was branded a murderer and treated like an animal by the adults in his village. Forced to train to become their weapon and forced to obey all the missions and orders given." Uraraka said while crying.

"Haku-chan has already endured a lot of pain for him. But he still tried to keep his senses and endure all the suffering alone. It wouldn't be strange if Haku-chan became a villain after going through all those painful experiences. I really respect and like Haku because he has worked so hard to get here. I feel proud to be his friend." Tsuyu said.

"Even though he lives side by side with darkness, he can still see the light at the end of the darkness." Tokoyami said.

"No matter how you look at it, I still can't think of how Haku can still smile at us even though he's been through so many pains. I can't imagine how hurt his heart is when he keeps losing his loved ones after awakening his powers." Sato said.

"Right. When we feel happy because we get a quirk, Haku actually gets continuous suffering and can't live as he wants. And now, he is burdened with his sins and is always trying his best to penetrate his sins." Kaminari said.

"Sensei! Can't you just let Haku stay here? Indeed he had committed crimes in the past, but now Haku has changed! Even though he always denied being called a hero, but to me, he is the real hero! He didn't let his past drown him and became a bad person. He endured all that suffering alone and remains a good person and be a great hero to everyone! Can't we just forgive his pasts and let him live with us?" asked Kirishima.

"Right. Haku, he just wants to live happily with his family. But he is always burdened with feelings of guilt towards those who are his victims. Haku is only 15 years old now! He wasn't supposed to be going through all that stuff. I can't imagine how hard it must have been to live while holding on to his guilt while he was living in this city." Iida said.

"I came to understand how Haku felt when he said he didn't want to be too close to us. Seeing his memories like that, of course he must be traumatized because he always loses the people he cares about right in front of his eyes. But, he also can't live alone because he definitely needs a friend to accompany him. Because of that, he had Zabuza-san, Masami-san, Hanami-san, and Sasaki-san beside him. He is afraid to live alone, but also afraid to lose the people he cares about. That's why he always tries his best to protect people because he knows how painful it is to lose loved ones." Todoroki said.

"Sensei, can you allow Haku to stay with us? In my opinion, the reason he didn't become a villain was because there was Zabuza-san. There was someone waiting for him to come home. There is someone who cares and loves him. That's why he can still keep his senses. He saw Zabuza-san as the hope of his life. 'As long as there is Zabuza-san, I have to survive as best I can'. Maybe that's what Yuki-kun thought when he was in that village. He needs people who want to accept him as he is, he needs people who can be his hope in life. That's why he survived and continues to fight until now. But, apart from that, he also needs friends so he doesn't fall in the wrong direction. Just like what Ukai did to Haku in the past, we will also support him so that Yuki-kun can live in peace in his heart." Midoriya said.

The others finally nodded in agreement with Midoriya's words, except for Bakugo who had been silent for a long time. Right now, his heart is in turmoil after learning about Haku's dark past. He is now in doubt, whether he should sympathize with Haku, angry, regretful, guilty, or sad. But one thing is for sure, he feels defeated and jealous of Haku because he has a very big heart than him. Haku, who has gone through difficult times himself, can still smile and do good to everyone. While he was always angry over trivial things. The difference in experience also annoyed him because he admitted that Haku had more experience than him, especially fighting experience.

Bakugo also realized the reason Haku always responded with a smile even though he was rude to him because Haku had experienced things worse than what he had done to Haku. That's why, right now he was also annoyed because he felt that Haku had come a long way in front of him and he couldn't seem to reach or catch up with him no matter how hard he tried.

"Okay. We have heard your opinion. For the final decision, we will discuss it first. It's late now, rest for today. How about you, Zabuza-kun, Tsukauchi-kun?" asked Nezu.

"I will return to the office and discuss this with the higher-ups. Of course we'll do it secretly because it's bound to get really messy if everyone finds out that hero number 6 used to be an assassin. I'll contact you when it's time to discuss this. For the time being, don't let Yuki leave UA until the decision from the higher-ups comes down." Tsukauchi said.

"Understood." Nezu said then looked at Zabuza.

"I will stay here with Haku until tomorrow." Zabuza said.

"Okay. I allow you to accompany Haku until tomorrow. Right now, he really needed his guardian to calm his heart. It must be very hard for him to talk about all this. Because of that he also had to hand it over everything to the Kyuubi in his body. He must be very embarrassed." Nezu said.

"Yes. I know." Zabuza said then carried Haku in a princess style.

"In that case, I'll take Haku to his room and stay here until tomorrow." Zabuza said.

"Let me show you Haku's room. Please follow me." Iida said. Zabuza also followed Iida from behind and several students such as Midoriya, Uraraka, Tsuyu, Yaoyorozu, Kirishima, and Todoroki followed behind.

Arriving at Haku's room, Zabuza immediately put Haku to sleep gently and wiped his face full of tears. "If you need anything you can call me, my room is to the left of Haku's room." Todoroki said.

"Yes. Thank you." Zabuza said then saw Haku's face full of regret and sadness. There was no feeling other than sadness and regret in Zabuza's heart right now after seeing Haku's memories firsthand.

"Then we'll say goodbye. Please rest, Zabuza-san." Iida said.

"Thank you, all of you. Hearing your words makes me very happy. Thank you for wanting to be friends with Haku. He is very lucky to have friends as good as you." Zabuza said.

"It's nothing. As his friend, we feel obligated to support him and keep him from being misguided in his life." Iida said. Then he closed the door. Zabuza looked at Haku again and smiled.
