They Do What Can Be Done

"Tch… is that all I can get for experience?" asked Zuru to himself. He along with a party of four had managed to defeat a Wrecking Whieler, a monster with the body shape of a giant bird with sharp claws and thick feathers.

These monsters are generally level 40 or above, it is difficult for an adventurer or knight to defeat him unless having a party populated by great people.

"Master Zuru, I think we should rest first! Everyone is exhausted!" One of the party members tried to ask for understanding.

Zuru looked at each member, his eyes catching the exhaustion from every face. "Alright, we're going to rest for a bit! But, only for a while. As soon as possible I must reach the highest level to defeat the Demon Lord!"

All members could only remain silent with their eyes downcast, they felt that Zuru was too harsh, the body of a living being had a limit if it was forced to continue it would be fatal.

The competition between heroes continues, Adred tries to find information about a legendary weapon made by a master blacksmith.

"Shit, why didn't I get any information about that thing?" Adred muttered in annoyance on the bar table along with the party.

They continued to circle the city, but found nothing. Today was really exhausting for him, Adred was better off fighting thousands of monsters in his front eye than having to look for something that might just be a rumor.

He found an ancient record in Manzara City, there was an inscription that said that there was a great knight who once freed darkness using a special sword called the Eternal Light Fury, a sword that is said to be forged using seven elements of magic elements combined into one and created the sword as the embodiment of the best masterpiece ever.

The note has no continuation, only a sentence that might be a clue to find it.

"I can't believe that today was just wasted searching for information on swords that even people have long forgotten about!" Adred couldn't stop muttering in anger.

He had questioned every Black Smith in town, but they didn't have any information.

"Master Adred, I think maybe we should head to that location!" A young man tried to calm that man down.

"What do you mean?"

"Yes, it was said that there was a cave that held a very valuable item, I believe it might be the sword you have been looking for all this time!"

"That's right! Alright, let's find that thing now!" Adred's spirit swelled again after hearing the words of his partner.

One man who earned the title of hero, he had trained hard to reach the highest level of magic. Now that his abilities were on par with a mage of a tier 8. That level was so incredible for someone to master in just two years, everyone became amazed by Haru.

Haru is thirsty for knowledge that can make him continue to be strong, there is no tired word for him to become the greatest person in using magic.

"What are they doing right now? If it's possible for me to defeat the Demon Lord, for now it's best if I leave the task of exterminating the monsters to the three of them!" Haru doesn't want to compete with things that won't be in his favor.

He was aiming for something bigger, he confidently believed that everyone would not be able to beat him in a duel.

"Master Arzlan!" Alisha approached Arzlan after that man remained silent while staring at the palm of his right hand.

"Yes!"

"Finally Master speaks too!" The man had been silent for more than 30 minutes until Alisha got shivered while staring at him. "What are you doing sir? It seems very serious."

The girl was trying to get to know Arzlan, she didn't want the distance between them to get any further. The journey was so long it was hard for her to be considered a friend if they just kept staring at each other.

"I'm just contemplating, today is not too extreme the opponent I met!"

"Huh?" Alisha was surprised what made Arzlan say that, it was very clear that the monster this afternoon almost paralyzed the man's body, but because of his calm demeanor, it was a mystery to Alisha. "Master, are you all right?"

Arzlan raised his eyes. "What are you talking about?"

Arzlan raised his eyes. "What are you talking about?"

"No!" Alisha is confused about how to answer Arzlan's words, the red right eye gives a more sinister impression. "Ano, I see every Master fighting the characteristic that comes out is so savage and wild, is it not bad for Master?"

"Is that so, you see that my fighting style is very scary. You don't have to worry, I'm still in a conscious state as long all the emotions in my body aren't too high!"

"If Master's emotions explode what will happen?"

"When that time comes, you must run as best you can. It was a phase where I couldn't control the anger in this body, if you want to survive then do what I want!"

Alisha gulped. She really couldn't imagine what would happen when Arzlan's words came true.

Arzlan himself could not imagine what would happen, he actually felt a great energy residing in his body. Darkness' words about the true power in Arzlan's body is still a mystery, the creature doesn't explain how Arzlan can control his power.

"That time will come… I will exert everything in my body!" Arzlan doesn't want that power to hurt other people.

The journey was only a little longer, they were looking forward to tomorrow so they could arrive at the location that had been planned from the start.

After morning had lit up the entire area it was time for them to continue their journey, still far enough for them to reach the village location. Everything looks very clear, the distance traveled seems not too far, but the reality is different, it takes a lot of energy and time to get to that location.

Arzlan and Alisha suddenly stopped in the middle of the forest when they saw a monster was blocking their way. The creature was a forest dweller named Faust Great Bear Rock, a bear with sharp hooves covered with hard skin was already in front of them.

His eyes filled with anger when he saw two uninvited guests enter his territory, immediately the monster charged towards them.

"Alisha, you better back off!" After saying that Arzlan quickly ran towards the monster.

Alisha became a little sad when she heard Arzlan's words, she didn't seem like someone who could help.
