Adred then jumped, with the spear in his hand he lunged at the dragon.


Just as the spear pierced the dragon's neck, the dragon's body was pushed far enough to fall from the fortress.


Adred did not let go of his spear, he continued to push the dragon to the ground. 


Just as the dragon's body landed, the energy from the spear exploded, a dazzling glint of light that was followed by a huge explosive sound.


All the soldiers were astonished at Adred 's reckless action , the explosion produced black smoke that blocked all view.
