Act IV: I'm trying to erase you, With a broken heart

I'm not sure if everyone is upset at me or if I'm just unlucky. I don't recall having a curse mark on my ass, so why is fate punishing me? " Thanks for coming Sky. It's good to have you here. At least I won't be the third wheel for them. " Julian murmured, she's Trixie's American friend, and she wants to tour around the whole city, so they double dated unexpectedly, but Trigo and Trixie seem to have their own world.

They have no idea that they are hurting other people's feelings. I'm not claiming it's my issue.

"They're cute, if I had a partner, I want to be like Trigo except for being a bad boy, Sky, what do you want in a woman?" I turned to her, and she was also looking at me, but she quickly went away due to embarrassment.

"I'm not seeking for anyone else; I just want someone to love me so I can insist on continuing with my shenanigans." I grinned and discreetly stared at Trigo, wishing I was Trixie or whatever would be his lover at the time. It's not a bad thing to fantasize, but there's a part of me that wishes I could be someone else.

My God, Sky! You are indeed a martyr!

"SKY!!!!"

I nearly fell as someone pounced on me to hug me. "I've been calling you before, you didn't even hear me! Then who's with you? Have you changed me? I don't love you anymore" I feel like I want to grab scotch tape to cover her mouth since I don't know how she lasted six years.

"Athena?! Shut up — let go of him, Sky might die in your tight hug." Suddenly, someone pulled her away from me, and I smiled. "Long time no see, how are you?" They stopped squabbling, and Athena approached me to embrace my arm while looking as if she was trying to seduce Julian, as well as if she was experiencing cultural shock.

"Please excuse for my friends" I asked Julian, who simply grinned and signed okay. "What are you doing here?" I asked the couple.

"It's our anniversary today," Barbara said, pulling said, Athena closer. "We saw you suddenly, I didn't want to ruin your date, but this woman wants gossip, you know you're her first love," he added, even though the two of them had many objections, they remained steadfast and as a friend; I support both of them in their battle, as they say against all odds.

"But you're the one I love," Athena said as she hugged Barbara. I admire them both because they love each other. "Perhaps you want to come with us, truly have lunch, isn't it Julian?" My friend responded with a nod.

"It's fine for a lot of us, for fun; let's check whether Trixie is waiting inside." We entered a restaurant; luckily, Trigo had reserved the correct table for the right amount of people; I also reintroduced them to Barbara and Athena.

"Did Cupid tell you there's a welcome party next week?" Athena asked as we finished ordering, and Barbara kicked her legs causing two of them intensely stared at each other. "He told me last week, and I received an invitation from him."

George also told me about the welcoming party, and he indicated it was acceptable if I didn't attend because they were all aware of my situation. "Are you going to attend? Maybe it's good if you don't, everyone will understand, you know..." she added quietly as I groaned deeply. "I'm a killjoy if I'm the only one in our batch who doesn't come to see him when he returns home, and I've moved on in the past, I don't know if he's like that," I said, as our order arrived, and I noticed Trigo glancing at me as if he wanted to know what we were talking about.

"Babe, feed me," Trixie said suddenly, Trigo promptly did what she desired, and I winced tsk! What is she, a kid who needs to be fed?

"Wait a minute, it appears that we have a lot of ants; even the fish sauce is being consumed," Barbara joked, and everybody chuckled.

Where is the sparks or sweetness they have? I'm not even feeling it. They appear to be a father and daughter tsk! Please, Sky, quit being envious.

The entire day of our journey with Julian has come to an end, and she is overjoyed since Barbara and Athena are getting closer. She was also not judgmental when she discovered the two were in a relationship. "Oh! Take a shower!" Trigo said, tossing the new towel to me in exchange for coming with us the other day. He doesn't have anyone in the house right now because his parents are in Japan on business.

I had just completed showering when I noticed him playing computer games; the one I was given as a t-shirt was either too big for me or I was just slim, and a spare boxer that appeared to be brand new.

"When will your parents' business trip end?" I inquired as I sat on the bed, and he shrugged. "I'm not sure, they don't tell me anything, and my older brother is always the first to know because he's the heir," he added, clutching the mouse tightly.

I took a big breath; ever before he left to college, he had been telling me about his family problems, particularly the injustice of his parents. His parents were opposed to the path he picked, and they even preferred his older brother.

"You're astonished there, am I really that handsome to amaze you?"

I flung a towel at him, "Stupid!" He laughed and returned his focus to his computer. "It's Trixie and I's anniversary next week; if you could help me come up with an idea, and what a beautiful surprise for her," he added, and I stopped fiddling with my fingers.

Trixie makes me envious; Trigo adores her. "S-sure, just tell me when," I said, trying not to cry because I had to accept that Trigo would never like me. "Sky?" he called again, and I just hummed in response, perhaps because he noticed my voice, which kept me from crying, "Thank you for being here with me, I love you best friend." Fuck my heart! Sky, why are you still thinking about falling for him?
