Act XV: I'm just standing here, Where we used to be together

As expected, the issue died down over time, but some people are still disgusted and give dirty looks. I simply ignore them.

"Sky!" I was startled when I felt a tap on the back of my neck. I turned to face Noah, who gave me a smile and a peace sign. "I keep calling you, but it appears you can't hear me," he explained as he sat down next to me. We're at the cafeteria right now, and yes, it's already fixed. The midterm exam is still taking place, and I have already finished the first six subjects. There are still six days left, so I need to study, but I don't think this cafeteria is a good option. "Where have the others gone?" I inquired. He sighed and shrugged his shoulders.

'Edward's got a date. "I'm not sure about Jacob," he said as Cupid entered the cafeteria, dragging our other two friends, Michael and Asher, who were silently trailing behind him. It appeared that they had gotten into fights because I saw some visible bruises. When they arrived at our seat, he pushed them both to sit.

"What happened to both of you?" I asked, and they both looked away, attempting to avoid the question. "Answer him or I'll punch both of you," Cupid threatened. They were scared and gulped at the same time. Noah remained silent, waiting for their response, but it took some time for them to speak. They were staring at each other and communicating through their gazes. Asher suddenly whined in pain when Cupid cleared his throat to get their attention. I'm pretty sure Michael kicked him in the shins. The engineer had no choice but to be the one to explain what was wrong. "Uhmm..." mumbled he. We were stuck in our department fight earlier, so this is what we got." I knew he was lying when Asher couldn't look me in the eyes directly.

"Tell me the truth, I don't like people who lie." They were taken aback by what I said, including Jacob, who had just arrived and was dashing towards us. "What's going on here?" he inquired, but Noah drew him to a seat.

Michael exhaled a sigh. "Fine, I'll be the one to explain," he said, ignoring Asher's glare. "let me start, your ex-friend approached us on the way here. It's technically Asher. He asked him some so-called relationship questions, but this jerk rudely responded. I was just trying to break up the fight when he suddenly punched Asher." He elaborated. There is no need to identify him because we already know who he is referring to.

When Noah stood up and asked, "Where are you going?" I stood up to follow and stop him. "I'm going to teach that jerk not to mess with us," he grumbled as he resumed his walk. I tried once more to stop him. "Don't solve one problem by creating another! I'm sure he's already received his punishment, but Noah, please listen to me and don't make it worse. " My voice rose, and I'm sure we drew people's attention.

He got a brief moment of silence, but it was a good thing he agreed and returned to his seat. I breathed a sigh of relief. Edward and George arrived and inquired as to what had occurred. I explained everything calmly. We both agreed to let it go, but if Trigo does it again, my friends will not hesitate to resort to violence. Speaking of the devil, Trigo entered the cafeteria with Trixie, his hand on her waist. I only look at them for a split second before turning away. I don't want any more conflict.
