" What's your deal with Megan Pierce? Is she and her stupid squad bullying you?", he asked and Mabel stared at him a little shocked at the sudden change in conversation but she didn't fail to notice the distaste laced in his voice when he uttered Megan's name.

" What makes you dislike Megan this much?", she couldn't help blurting out but all he did was glare at her to tell her she was crossing the line.

She quickly shut up her mouth hole to stop any thoughts about Megan and Holden from flowing out.

" Normally I would give you your phone but something's urgent come up and you need to know", Holden said figuring he could start up like that.

He didn't dwell on the Megan Pierce topic as not everything about her life concerned him and he was just making sure she wasn't getting bullied because of him.

" What could be so urgent that I would literally be deprived of my phone for this long?", Mabel grumbled slightly annoyed.

Her phone was on silent mode and she was sure that it would have sent her a notification that her favorite motivational show was airing. Was she going to be phone less because of him?

" Luke's planned this big fake wedding party at the beach my Dad owns... it is just meant to be a fun game where teenagers get to waste a lot of money and he chose you to be the bride", Holden finished and watched her expression.

He saw her eyes widen in realization at what he just said and she began to shake her head subconsciously before finally uttering a pretty "No, I can't do it, I can't become a bride at a wedding, it would be too much of her attention", Mabel said and her palms started to turn sweaty.

She was panicking, her head was stuck on the thought of walking in the presence of a lot of people. Why would Luke's outrageous mind place her in that category?

" It's not much of a big deal Brownie! I have never seen you hang out with any fucked up person .... you always stick to yourself. This is an opportunity Mabel and I am not handing you your god-damned phone back unless you agree to be the bride of our fake wedding", Holden said and sat on the desk comfortably.

His legs were aching from standing too long.

" This is bullying, Holden besides, I'm fine being on my own.... I might just faint from the too much attention, don't do this to me", she said as she walked closer to him.

She took off her glasses and stared at him clearly. Maybe he couldn't see her pleading eyes very well with the glasses on. She couldn't do anything else but that.

Her blue eyes finally stood out in all of her features and Holden stared at her silently. Her glasses really did a number on hiding her beauty.

All of a sudden, he didn't know what happened to him and he drew her close to himself. What he was about to say was pretty tempting.

" If you don't fucking agree..... I'll... I'll..... Kiss those cute lips of yours till you fucking lose oxygen".
