" We have to get into that room but how?", Jace asked and Holden murmured. " What about that ladder over there, go get the ladder", Holden tells Jace but Jace refuses

 " You go get the ladder or we use the front door", Jace thought and suggested but Holden smacked him on the face.


 " We can't break into someone's house you fool, we ain't fucking spending our teenage life in jail, I'll go get the ladder",he said and Jace rubbed his cheeks. Holden comes back without a ladder but a terrible smell.


 " Awwm dude, what's that smell?", Jace asked holding his nose hole from breathing in the smell. " It's dog poop and I didn't get the ladder, let's go home we can come back tomorrow".

       " Ok...... Holden...I'm going to pretend that none of this is weird but you look outstanding right now", she said to have him retract his hands but he didn't stop staring at her weirdly. She was about to burst out on him when he finally smiled. " That's because I stole Luke's wedding suit and about the compliment, thankyou because also I knew it would look great on me", he said and stared at himself from up to down before staring back up at her.


  she couldn't help but smile at him, if you found it weird that Holden could talk about such things like it wasn't a big deal that's because Holden has a very childish side and not much knew about it because they barely got to hang out with him.


   " The wedding dress suits you, what a bright red", Holden said and she nodded. The theme color for the wedding was peach and red and right now Holden was putting on a peach colored suit that fits his amazing black eyes.


    " Yeah, Jace has ummm great choices", she said and he nodded softly. And literally after that the changing room became silent. More like awkward for both Holden and Mabel.


   Mabel had never felt this awkward in her entire life. I mean yeah it was a normal thing for her to run out of words to say but things had changed recently. She remembered the last time they talked when they were alone and it pretty ended with a scream and a damsel in distress run. She didn't even have a normal conversation with him after that because they were busy proving if Megan was bullying her or not, that day in the ladies room.


   " Hey", he said softly that had Mabel stare back at him. After that huge quietness, she had been staring around the room, staring at any thing but him.


    " I know I was kind of a huge dick the last time and I'm sorry for scaring you off like that", he said to have Mabel's eyes widened but she was quick to resume her posture on the outside but her insides were nervous. Yeah because she never prepared herself for an apology


   " Umm I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have run away like that, it was kind of stupid", she said softly and let her gaze rest downwards.


     " I guess there was something we both felt guilty about", he said and she smiled before staring back at him.Did she even feel guilty for wanting to kiss him? She did feel guilty at the thought of betraying Megan's friendship. She shook her head to get the stupid thoughts off and realized she had been staring too long.


    " I almost forgot, I brought your glasses with me but it's in the suit I'm wearing..... which is probably on Huxley's body right now....I've got to go..ok am so sorry but I need to get those glasses", he said and was about bolting off but she suddenly held him back.


   " Stay", she said in the most sweetest voice ever and Holden felt himself freeze at the spot while his heart raced like he had just done a crazy exercise.


    He turned around to look at her like he hadn't understand what she meant " Me stay...?", he asked and Mabel nodded. " As much as you love your suit right now, I need someone to keep me company, and you are my first choice", she said and smiled awkwardly at him.


  Holden was in a daze, he literally didn't know how to react. Ever since he came to see her, he had been behaving sick. " Mabel feel my head, am I hot? I feel like I have a fever coming on", he said raising her hand to touch his forehead while his eyes asked her what she thought.


    "Yeah you might be coming off with a ummmm, beauty syndrome, because you're hot and I think that girls like me are jealous.... why don't you sit down and I'll turn you ugly", she said in a playful manner and Holden who had taken a seat before quickly stood up and glared at her.


   " You think it's funny that I'm behaving weird", he said and she couldn't help but smile. " Holden grow up", she said softly and walked straight to the window for fresh air.
