" We have to get into that room but how?", Jace asked and Holden murmured. " What about that ladder over there, go get the ladder", Holden tells Jace but Jace refuses

 " You go get the ladder or we use the front door", Jace thought and suggested but Holden smacked him on the face.


 " We can't break into someone's house you fool, we ain't fucking spending our teenage life in jail, I'll go get the ladder",he said and Jace rubbed his cheeks. Holden comes back without a ladder but a terrible smell.


 " Awwm dude, what's that smell?", Jace asked holding his nose hole from breathing in the smell. " It's dog poop and I didn't get the ladder, let's go home we can come back tomorrow".

    Mabel smiled cheekilly at Holden, Gosh his look was so adorable, the glasses made her just want to drag him close and hit his face softly. " You keep staring, I'm sure with this new look, I totally look like a million dollar baby", Holden said and removed the glasses from his face while she smiled adorably at him. 'Yeah you do ', Mabel thought but didn't dare voice that out loud.


    " Can I?", she heard him ask. He was asking if he could help her put on her glasses. She nodded shyly and Holden quickly went to helping her with that. He was all gleeful today which was totally the opposite of how he felt during literature classes. 


     He guessed that the thought of seeing Mabel was what made him feel like this, all giddy inside. He couldn't say he was interested in her but he did admire her, that was for sure, otherwise, why would he, a total snob, waste his time on an introvert?


    " Did you study?", he whispered across to her as she was finally back in her glasses. First he missed those glasses, now he was missing her blue eyes, Holden keep it together, he scolded himself.


   Mabel guessed that Holden didn't want the other students to hear about it so she whispered her answer back. " Nope, the wedding idea remember, that was a pretty good distraction", she answered to have him chuckle whilst remembering that, that Saturday would be grilled in everyone's head till they graduated from highschool.


    " I'm glad that trouble maker is gone", Holden continued whispering and Mabel frowned, he didn't need to whisper that at all but seeing him bend to her face as he whispered silently made him look sort of cute so she continued along with him.


    " Yeah, Megan told me he left yesterday", She whispered back and he nodded. " It's a good thing you didn't read though but the pop quiz is today so it's just the results that comes out on Wednesday", he whispered back and Mabel nodded softly before realizing what Holden was saying. Did he mean that the test was rescheduled to today? That was horrible but at the same time perfect.


   She smiled at him calmly before whispering to him as it was kind of fun, " Ok then, let me get to checking if I have all ten pencils with me", she whispered for Holden to roll his eyes at her words. She could only chuckle as she turned around to the front as she went about counting all her pencils.


    Lily Rose stared at two empty seats at the back role and then one next to Wills, her lips pulled up in a smile. She had been tracking this boy and she was sure she could nail it off. Taking in deep breaths, she walked over to the seat next to him and sat there. Wills was busy reading some newspaper, well he worked at the senior journalism board of the school so obviously he would be holding one but it doesn't explain why she had just never met him.


    " Hi Wills", she said smiling at him and he moved his eyes away from the paper to stare at the person who said his name and his eyes widened in shock when he saw who was talking to him. " Li...Lily Rose", Wills stuttered and she fluttered her eyelashes at him. " In the flesh", she said jokingly and he could only stare blankly, what could she possibly want with him? 


    " Can I have your number?", she asked and he just stared at her a bit flustered. " It's just that I have everyone's number in school but I don't have yours and it's not right because you look so amazing",  she gave a reason and realized that was seriously too straight forward. He just kept staring at her like she was some sort of trouble maker he didn't want to get entangled with but at the same time couldn't help being flustered from.


   Before she could say something more, the teacher walked in and he turned his attention to the front totally ignoring her while she frowned. She did her investigation on him, she wasn't going to let him off that easily.
