Against my morals

Her face concealed the jealousy and envy of all the attention An Xiaodi was getting. You know something about girls is that they tend to be jealous and very petty about each other and sometimes compete with each other of trivial things to feel superior.

And that's exactly what she felt.

" Oh I you can sing too?" An Xiaodi pretended to be surprised and then her face turned interested, her voice flat." Oh alright that's cool but I didn't ask for your personal information."

" You little... " The woman's face frowned and then her face changed back to a sweet smile.

You know another thing about girls was that they involve themselves in silent war and trading indirect insults towards their subject of hatred. Sometimes they can go into any length as to scheming and laying word traps and ruining images of one another.

And that's what she was going to do to An Xiaodi.

" Say how about we compete with each other to see who can sing better? " The lady batted her eyes while jokingly patting An Xiaodi by head.

" As I have other things to do I think it's a waste of time." An Xiaodi quickly dismissed it as she had a bad premonition.

" Aww come on don't ruin the fun. Tell you what? we compete who's key's is higher and at the end of the competition, the loser will have to take three shots of the strongest wine here." The woman cheered on.

" Hey Gwen that's enough. She's new my guest and friend here." Avery finally had enough of this drama queen. She shot an apologetic look at An Xiaodi and An Xiaodi simply smiled, shrugging to tell her it was fine.

" Hey I was just living up the party... it's not a big deal if she doesn't have a higher voice range." The drama queen, Gwen laughed jokingly." I was just teasing her sheesh!"

Avery went livid as she understood what Gwen was up to. Which bonker head invited Gwen to this party?!

" She's not gon–"

" Okay I'll do it." An Xiaodi interrupted her and Avery widened her eyes looking at An Xiaodi incredulously wondering if she was dumb not to see through the scheme.

Everybody hooted in surprise. Usually when Gwen picked on girls she dislikes, they either ignore her pretending that she was beneath their notice but were embarrassed badly and humiliated or they look weak in front of her. No girl had ever had the galls to shoot back at her because she was from a very prestigious family.

" Hey let's just knock it off and do something else that is fun." Gwen's date tried to salvage the situation as he felt the air tense. He didn't want to see An Xiaodi embarrassed by his date. Since the time An Xiaodi walked in,he felt his heart stopped; she was way prettier than any girl in this party. Infact she was the prettiest.

" No I don't think so. This is really fun." An Xiaodi disagreed. Now it was the guy's turn to be incredulous as his mouth nearly hung open.

Was this girl ditsy in the brain? Can't she see that he was trying to save her from any embarrassment?

" You see then Connor? it's her choice." Gwen chuckled.

" But let's make it a bit more interesting... instead taking the strongest wine as punishment let's change it to...Both of us will each drink a simple shot before singing any song."

" No Gwen that's–" Avery was about to protest vehemently when An Xiaodi interrupted her again.

" I'll be glad to."

" Cindy!!" Avery turned to her looking helpless and very furious. An Xiaodi signalled with her eyes that everything will be ok.

" But if I win..." Gwen smirked." You'll have to do pole dancing for us all here." And everyone hooted in unison.

"What if I win?" An Xiaodi laughed at her stupidity.

" Your choice." Gwen shrugged looking at her intently like a predator hunting it's prey.

"If I win...I want you to give me two million." An Xiaodi folded her arms and Gwen was shocked. She had expected her to say something more sinister and wicked not shamelessly extorting money from her. That amount was huge that it might leave a hole in her bank account.

" Why would you ask for that?" She sneered at her." Change it to something less stupid."

" Of course it's for compensation for wasting my time talking and singing with a pea brain which cost one million and for the damages of alcohol to my health which will be one million too." An Xiaodi scoffed listing them with her hands.

Gwen was rendered speechless along with everyone.

" Or... I want you to kneel down and kowtow to me while calling yourself an idiotic moron every time you see me." An Xiaodi deadpanned.

" You little b****" Gwen narrowed her eyes spitting in a low growl. She wanted to slap her hard.

" Choose one cos I never complained about the pole dancing even when it insulted my morals." An Xiaodi leaned over.

" Fine then...two million it is." Gwen smiled sweetly. She imagined hacking her with a spear in her mind.
