Return

When Jeanne knocked on the door of Bailey's ward, she heard her distant cousin's voice for the first time after a long time.

"Please come in."

Opening the door and entering, she saw a long-haired woman in casual clothes, putting the last piece of clothing into a large handbag. The woman turned her head, her calm aura, her bookworm-ish face, and her grey eyes behind the rimless glasses reflected vicissitudes of life—full of wisdom. Here, she once again met with this woman, Bailey Feynman, the most direct victim and the biggest beneficiary of General Barton's downfall.

"Hey, Sister Bailey, long time no see."

"Haha, Little Jeanne, long time no see." Bailey strode over and hugged Jeanne. Seeing Jeanne again, she seemed genuinely happy and even joked, "What are you saying? I'm the one who hasn't seen you for a long time. You should have seen me several times before, but I wasn't aware of it."
