"We shall overcome, we shall overcome,

We shall overcome someday;

Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe,

We shall overcome someday.... ohoooo"

"Mom do you still listen to that song?" she chuckled, seeing her effortlessly singing along as if she owned the rights.

It's the song she has heard her sing since she was a child, and although she frequently wished her mother would update her playlist, she knew that might be a dangerous suggestion.

"I've grown up, and you…" Xandra giggled, covering her mouth to stifle her laughter.

Her mother shot her a "look" that made her pause, turning her attention back to the road.

"Hahahah" ow-kay owkay am not saying it anymore" She replied still chuckling

"But you…" she continued, laughter bubbling up as she struggled to finish her thought.

Her mother's energy was infectious!

She tilted her head back, playfully pinching her nostrils with her fingers, and cast a teasing glance at her from a dramatic 170-degree angle..

"Hahaha, Mum!" she burst out, unable to contain her joy.

"Mama, stop being so dramatic! How can you be like that?" They both erupted in laughter.

Like mother, like daughter—they were a perfect pair.

They had faced challenges together, and when it was time to celebrate, they made no excuses.
