Chapter 5 Selling to Anyone is the Same_1

```
The men, upon seeing Leo Harrell, a flicker of fear crossed their eyes, but then they realized there were three of them and only one of him.
Emboldened, one shouted, "Didn't you see the young master handling business here? Best clear off..."
Before he could finish, the man was knocked to the ground, clutching his stomach and groaning in pain.
"Leave"
Leo Harrell's deep voice released a single word, and the other two quickly dragged the man on the ground and fled in a panic.
The restroom suddenly became silent, so quiet that the sound of dripping water could be heard.
Leo Harrell stared at the disheveled woman in the corner, his eyes suddenly darkening. With a long reach, he pulled her out of the restroom and headed straight for the elevator!
Sophia Cloud was still in shock and by the time she came to her senses, Leo Harrell had grabbed her by the neck.
"Sophia Cloud, why are you so demeaning? Is this what you resort to after leaving the Harrell family, selling your body to make money?"
Selling her body?
Sophia Cloud had been grateful for his intervention just moments ago, but now she felt a chill. Was that how he saw her?
She was just about to explain, but suddenly her scalp tightened as Leo Harrell grabbed her hair and flung her onto the bed.
"If you're selling, does it matter who the buyer is? I also want to find out how a mute tastes who cannot speak. Is fifty thousand enough, or should it be five million?"
He stood by the bed, squinting his eyes, his face full of scorn.
With her scalp in agony, Sophia Cloud's eyes reddened with anger. She got up from the bed and lifted her hand to slap him. He should never have misunderstood her like this.
But as she raised her arm, before it could come down, Leo Harrell pinned her to the bed.
It was like he'd lost his sanity, tearing her already thin shirt completely apart and discarding it on the floor. His entire body weighed down on her, and his tongue forcefully pried open her lips, rampaging inside with brutality.
Her skin suddenly exposed to the air, Sophia Cloud couldn't help but tremble, tears streaming down as she did not enjoy being bullied this way.
Feeling that glimmer of wetness, Leo Harrell's bloodshot eyes slowly calmed down, the heat on his body beginning to fade as if regaining a trace of sanity.
Sophia Cloud seized the chance to free herself from his grasp, staggering out the door.
She didn't have the chance to signal anyone before she dashed into the elevator and fled the bar.
Outside the suite, Evelyn Smith saw Sophia Cloud rush out in disarray, her pupils abruptly constricting, and the face hidden in the dark corner turned increasingly cold and sinister.
Sophia Cloud was penniless; her phone was out of battery, and her clothes were crumpled. Walking on the streets, she looked extremely distressed.
Without even the money to take a bus, she could only walk along the sidewalk.
As she crossed a street, a black Bentley suddenly honked its horn, pulling up beside her. The window rolled down to reveal a handsome and aristocratic face.
Sophia Cloud glanced at the man in the car, a stranger to her, and with a rising sense of caution, she wrapped her coat tighter and continued walking.
Yet the Bentley's driver was relentless, continuing to honk the horn and even getting out of the car to block her path.
"Miss Cloud, is that you?"
Sophia Cloud looked up in confusion, and the man offered a slight smile, "Miss Cloud, perhaps you don't recognize me, but I know you. My name is Christopher Lewis; Old Master Cloud often had dealings with my father before he passed."
Christopher Lewis? Sophia Cloud thought for a moment – indeed, it seemed Old Master Cloud often had dealings with the Lewis family.
She wanted to ask him what he wanted, but realizing he might not understand sign language, and with her phone out of battery, she simply returned a smile.
```

"I've volunteered before and can understand some sign language; you can tell me directly if you need anything!"

Sophia Cloud's eyes flashed with surprise and delight upon hearing that he could understand sign language, for few people around her knew it. She knew Leo Harrell understood some, yet he never liked to patiently guess what she was trying to say.

Most of the time, she could only communicate with others via her cellphone, and at times like now, when her phone's battery was dead, she felt especially helpless.

—Do you need something from me?

Sophia Cloud gestured.

The man before her pursed his lips in a smile, "Nothing in particular. I just saw you at the bar earlier, and I know about the current situation of the Cloud Family. Grandpa Cloud isn't here; you really have it tough."

Hardships? A strange sensation suddenly flitted through Sophia Cloud's heart—it was the first time someone had felt sorry for her sufferings.

This feeling warmed her heart a little.

"If you don't mind, I'll give you a ride home. It's unsafe for you to be alone this late."

Sophia Cloud was a very cautious person, but facing the gentle and elegant Christopher Lewis, she inexplicably trusted him, and after a moment's hesitation, she nodded in agreement.

On the way, Sophia Cloud learned that Christopher Lewis was the second young master of the Lewis family in Sea City.

Among the nobility of Sea City, the Harrell Family was considered preeminent, followed by families like the Lewis family. When Old Master Cloud was alive, the Cloud Family's status was comparable to the Lewis family, hence their interactions.

Old Master Cloud liked to associate with people of good character, so Sophia Cloud's trust in Christopher Lewis grew a bit more.

Arriving downstairs, she thanked Christopher Lewis and then hurried forward. She had been out all day and didn't know how Arthur was doing, or if Tiana Cooper could handle things.

She thought the worst-case scenario might be Arthur crying, but the situation proved much worse than she had imagined.

Upon opening the door, Tiana Cooper anxiously shouted, "Sophia, you're finally back. Why is your phone off? Arthur has been crying nonstop for you, and he's gotten a fever. Hurry! We need to get to the hospital!"

Sophia Cloud's heart clenched suddenly, and without asking anything else, she rushed out clutching Arthur.

Downstairs, after being delayed by a phone call, Christopher Lewis hung up and saw Sophia Cloud rushing out with the child in her arms...

In the hospital corridor.

Sophia Cloud's eyes brimmed with gratitude as she thanked Christopher Lewis. If it weren't for him, Arthur's illness might have missed the window for treatment.

—Mr. Lewis, thank you! Thank you for saving Arthur.

"Just call me Christopher," Christopher Lewis said with a gentle smile.

Sophia Cloud nodded, still shaken by the doctor's words that a few minutes later could have been much worse.

So she thanked him again.

—Christopher, thank you. I will pay you back for the medical expenses, let me write you an IOU for now.

Christopher Lewis had covered the medical expenses due to the emergency.

Christopher Lewis's lips curved with a slight smirk, his eyebrows lifting as if he found the notion of creating an IOU quite amusing. He waved his hand and said, "Don't worry about it. It wasn't much, just consider it as treating you to a meal!"

The nurse mentioned that Christopher Lewis had paid 60,000 yuan, a trivial amount for someone like him, but for Sophia Cloud at the moment, it was by no means a small sum. So, she insisted on writing an IOU.

Christopher Lewis looked at the IOU in his hand, his lips twitching imperceptibly, then looked up and said, "Since you've made an IOU, we might as well exchange contact information. Otherwise, where will I find you if you run away later?"

Sophia Cloud readily gave her number and watched Christopher Lewis leave the hospital, before returning to the ward.
