Chapter 263: The Gift Sent Out_1

After they casually ordered some dishes, Christopher Lewis could no longer wait.

"Ms. Susan Davis, just get straight to the point! What is it that you wanted to meet me for? Just say it—you know I'm not fond of beating around the bush."

Having said that, he subconsciously picked up the water next to him and took a sip.

The atmosphere became slightly awkward. Susan Davis let out a small smile and said, "I want to cooperate with you, but let's not rush things. Why don't we eat something first before we talk?"

Christopher didn't refuse. After being busy for so long, he finally had a moment to rest. The server quickly brought over the dishes they had ordered.

"Enjoy your meal."

"Thank you," responded Susan Davis lightly.

Then she gave a small smile, looked up at Christopher, and said, "Well, steaks first, we can talk about cooperation later."

Without further conversation, the two began to eat in silence.

Time ticked by, second by second, and Christopher was almost done eating.
