"So," Louisa said, "are you enjoying the food, eh?"

Adelaide was awfully quiet. She was fiddling with her fork inside the grill. The breeze was blowing, swishing her loose tresses about— swaying back and forth in the direction of the dancing grasses. The evening was slowly forming and the sky had turned purple.  It was her Caribbean ocean eyes that would not look at the woman who had just asked her a question. She, for a moment, seemed lost in her little world as she fixed her gaze into the horizon. She may harbor a distinct thought in her mind or whatever it was she could possibly be bothered about in that pretty head of hers.
