Chapter 68: Are you sure you won't regret it?

"Then we shall see each other tomorrow at Mercy Hospital to get a DNA test done," Hui Yun uttered as Zhao Ru Yu agreed. He offered to drive us home however, I didn't want him to do so as I had some words to tell Hui Yun.

Hui Yun and I walked silently towards the lift. Throughout the whole journey, we didn't talk. Until we reached the hall downstairs. "Hui Yun," I called after her as she turned around to look at me "Are you sure you won't regret your decision? After you leave this room you won't be able to change your decision,". Hui Yun's eyes turned misty and walked up to me muttering "This is the best decision. I don't have a choice Jie jie. I'm just 19. I don't know what to do,". I thought she might wanna cry again so we both walked outside to talk. There was a park nearby and we took a seat there.

"What are you going to do with your studies?" I asked. "I don't know Jie. I still want to become a children's doctor. To be a paediatrician, I've to study for 5 years and do a year internship. I've studied in medical for two years already so I've 3 years left of study and then an internship. So I can't take a gap year. The next four years are very important for me. I've no clue what to do," explained Hui Yun. "I'm not sure, what advice to give you. But at this point, you can only take one step at a time," I muttered we both signed together dis-heartily You see the biggest problem isn't to do with Zhao Ru Yu but what's to happen in the present moment.

"I wish that my child grows up safely, happily and healthy," hoped Hui Yun as I agreed with her. I only wish that her child can grow up safely, loved by both of his families. Hopefully, the child will learn to understand in the future why his parents aren't together.

"So... have you decided how to tell Mum and Dad about your pregnancy?" I asked curiously as she shook her head in reply. "I might not even tell them until I give birth," stated Hui Yun. I immediately interrupted her saying "I advised you to forget about that wishful thinking. Do you know that the doctor I've booked for you is actually Aunty Helen? So do you think what happens there will enter our parents' ears? You should tell them yourselves then when they find out from other people. I have got a good feeling they'll be even angrier," I explained.

"Boss, I just went inside to check again. The target didn't go to the car park. She went outside from the car park," whispered the spy. "Damn it," shouted the leader. "Oi, you start the car and go and look for them," he ordered whilst his men started the car and drove out of the car park to find the two girls. They couldn't find them until they saw both of them coming out of the park. Just as the two girls got up from their seats, the leader ordered all of them to wear their black face masks and prepare to do the job.

The car drove alongside the two walking girls. Suddenly, the door slid opened everyone rushed out to get the girl. They pushed away the younger child and only got the older one inside the car. They had covered her mouth however she managed to speak by biting the person's hand. "Hui Yun go and find Zhao Ru Yu, call Qi Yan and our parents. They'll handle everything. Quickly," she shouted as the other lady ran in the opposite direction. She seemed to be very reluctant to do as her jie jie told her. But she still ran back the opposite way to search for help.

"Boss should we chase after her?" one man asked as the leader shook his head. "I hardly believe a little girl can do anything to save her sister. Nah it's fine let's get going," he ordered as everyone slammed the car door and drove off quickly.
