Rebirth for you

About an hour later, almost everyone had arrived. Father was the last person who came. I'm not sure who told Zhao Ru Yu's parents but they also came.

"Miss Fu, Ru Yu told us to come. How are you feeling," Zhao Ning*(1) exclaimed. "Painful," she screamed. At this point, Hui Yun had already dilated to 5 cm. She seems to be dilating quite quickly. "I know, my dear. But you can do it. Have you eaten anything?" Melody Chen*(2) asked as she nodded. Mother handed her some orange juice and Hui Yun hungrily sipped it. "Don't drink that much," muttered Father. "You don't understand," signed Mum.

"Miss Hui Yun, how are you feeling," asked Qi Yan as he opened the door. "Why are you here?" I asked confusingly, "Who told him?" No one answered me. "I came to visit you and nurses said that Hui Yun was in labour. So I just came here," muttered Qi Yan as he stood at the door.

"Qi Yan, since you have come then don't just stand at the door," Fu Huai Zhan said as Qi Yan came in. "Sit down," I ordered looking as he stood there weirdly. The whole room had seats arranged for us. "Ahh," screamed Hui Yun as everyone turned to look at her. I had goosebumps on my body. I can never give birth. It's far too painful.

I looked at Qi Yan and noticed his clothing choice. He was wearing casual clothing as if he just came from the gym. He was wearing an Ad*das jumper and trousers. "Where did you come from?" I asked addressing Qi Yan. "Oh, I didn't have any other clothes so..." he replied. "Hmm," I moaned.

10 hours later Hui Yun had dilated up to 10cm. She had dilated really quickly. Even the doctors were quite shocked. She was immediately brought inside the labour room.

"We can only have 2 people with the patient inside the labour room. Who would like to go?" the nurse asked. Zhao Ru Yi immediately volunteered himself to go. Mom also went inside.

"Good luck Hui Yun," I muttered. "You can do it mei mei," exclaimed Huai Ning. A lot of encouragement was given to Hui Yun as she was brought inside the labour room. We all waited outside the operation room. Surprisingly, Qi Yan also came.

"I can never have a child. It's too painful. Also, everyone says giving birth is like visiting heaven. I do not want to do that until a couple of centuries, " I stated to Wei Wei whilst I was still in the wheelchair. Now that Hui Yun has gone inside I think I need to ask the doctors why I can't move my legs.

I never knew that Qi Yan was listening to every word I said. Later in the future, I would come to realise that maybe having a child with the man I love wasn't exactly a bad thing.

After Hui Yun went inside the labour room we all just stayed outside and sat on the chairs just in case something were to happen. I noticed that both Zhao Ru Yu's parents seemed to be praying. I could catch some words such as 'to keep the mother and child safe and healthy'
