Chapter 56

"Damn that man. He believes that everything is a joke. I can't stand him." Madison followed Jaysa not knowing what to really say. She was completely surprised that the Queen spoke to the King as she did. "I'm sorry about that." Jaysa finally spoke. "I shouldn't have left you by yourself." Jaysa stopped to look at Madison. Madison embarrassed, looked down at the floor.

"It's fine. That was the second time you save me." Jaysa smiled. She walked over to the teenager and spoke.

"No matter what, I'll always be here to help you. I will protect you no matter what." Jaysa meant every word. She pulled away from the teenager and asked. "Would you like to go to a place I call special" Madison looked up at her.

"Sure, I'd love that your Majesty."

"Oh please," Jaysa joke fully said. "Please call me Jaysa."

"But isn't it disrespectful to call you by any other names except Queen or your highness?" Madison asked.

"We're both girls with no real status. Even though I'm Queen, I don't feel any power. So call me Jaysa, it would be fine." Madison smiled and followed the older lady.

Jaysa led Madison inside a room, showing her the wonders that hid behind it.

"Wow," Madison had been in many rooms of the house, but she had never been in this one. There are books everywhere.

"Do you like it?" Jaysa asked. Madison was in awe that she couldn't respond. She just nodded. Jaysa smiled.

"Have you read all these books here?" Madison asked. Jaysa giggled. "No, I have to admit, I just found this library today. So I just started." Jaysa spoke back.

"Then let's start reading." Madison laughed and grabbed Jaysa's arm pulling her along.

In the dark hallway were the bricks were only lit by the flickering of the candles were two men who spoke of a vicious plan.

"I believe that you have everything in order?" A gruff voice spoke.

"Yes," other man replied.

"Good, the man smirked. "I will get back what is properly mine." The man chuckled. The face of a young child no younger than two could be seen hidden behind one of the men. The light flickered on the child's face as the men talked about their scheme. "I can't wait to see his face." The man smirked.
