In all, 18 year old Denshi Aoyama lives in a future in which Japan has been a part of the USA for 20 years where they mostly speak English and guns are legal. He works at a Del Burrito and looking for love. Enjoy?

I'm Just An Ambiverted Dude

I was shocked at the insanely high possibility of Katerina being the one to rob the same place she works at. There is also a chance that that woman tried to frame Katerina. I mean for all I know it could have been one of the women that works out at the gym 2 streets down, the same one most people in the neighborhood go to. I reported it to my boss and just told him it was a masked woman with a beanie that was about 5 foot 8 inches ish and she was completely shredded. 


"UGH, I still have to work THREE MORE HOURS!" I groaned and shook my head. It was hard enough for my glasses to slide off. The pain people with oily skin go through. 


The bell rings whenever someone enters regardless if they opened the door or not.


"Heyyyyy Denshi ~" It was Lisa and she was doing shopping in the plaza down the street like she does every Friday (it's one of her off days, she works as a designer's apprentice). I didn't want to tell her about the armed robbery, because I know her, she'll ask what the perp looked like and all that jazz (ew jazz, though jazzstep is pretty sick tho).


"Do you want the Legendary Curly Fry Burrito with a Diet Joke and Ghost Chili salsa like always?" I asked her.


She replied, "It's the only thing I crave, but no soda today, I'll take a water, I'm gonna go get boba with Dvonte in a couple hours and watch the Twisters game with him over there at Bobaholiq." "Ooooooooh~ a date~ it finally happened huh? I've been your and his wingman for like a year and a half XD. You better thank me Lisa!" I always love to tease them. If only I could get a girlfriend...


I was thinking out loud with that last part.


"It's okay, there is some girl out there for you. How's it going with Katerina? I mean y'all work together don't you?" she asked. 


"TERRIBLE. She thinks I like her because she looks kinda like you. I like her because her personality is the opposite of you. She never gives me the time of day. I should just move on. Maybe I should ask out a lady at the gym. I mean I am 18 so it wouldn't be weird per say."


"Denshi, you shouldn't do that to a girl just to get your mind off Katerina. Even if there won't be any hee-heeing until marriage. You don't want to waste a person's time just to feel better. Wait a bit, don't think about girls for a bit. Graduate from highschool, and then see how it goes. And if you fall in love within the next 2 months of school we have left, I'll support you bro."


"EXCUSE ME SIR, I've been waiting for like 2 minutes." some old lady said. I thought it was Karen for a second.


"OH MY GOODNESS I'M SO SORRY. Miss, what would you like to order? I'll give you my employee discount on the house." I switch to the other register really quick to take the old lady's order.


"You better, I'd like a Legendary Guacamole Steak Burrito with ghost chili salsa and a Diet Spritz." 


"Okay, that'll be $7.88 due to the discount. Wait about 3 minutes and your food will be ready. Lisa you know how much your order is."


I walk home which only takes about 10 minutes.
