His betrothed

　　It’s the weekend and I am having my day off. I have been on shifts and studying all week. I know I have to keep on reading books but I guess procrastinating for a day would not be too bad. I badly needed a break. I enjoy my time during my shifts but you cannot deny the negative energy revolving around it.


　　I took a shower and dressed in comfortable clothes, just a simple white shirt, and high waist jeans, but still decent enough to go out in. I plan to visit the orphanage that I am currently donating in. I asked Matteo about this last week and he agreed without question. I put all the things I need in my purse and walked out of the room. Matteo is sitting in the living room, his eyes focused on his laptop. When he heard me come out of my room, he turned his head to look at me.


　　“Are you going somewhere, Jean?” He asks,


　　“I am going to the orphanage,” I answered him,


　　“Can I go with you?” He asks, standing up and fixing his laptop.
