CHAPTER 58: What else turns you on?

Anna tugged at her black dress nervously as she looked in the mirror, the dress looked so expensive that she couldn't complain about how low the back cut was.

“Are you nervous?” Rhoda asked, raising a brow at Anna. She noticed that Anna was uncomfortable.

Anna looked away from the mirror and quickly shook her head. “No,”

The single reply annoyed Rhoda because that was how Anna had been replying to her ever since the stylist came.

“You know you are allowed to say more than a word, right?” She hissed.

Anna looked at her, and then at the stylist, who was leaving finishing touches on her face. “I'm not nervous,” she finally added, but she couldn't keep the anxiety off her voice. This was her first time wearing such an expensive dress- scratch that, this was her first time wearing any dress since her adulthood. Not even to register her marriage vows.

“I think she's not used to being dressed up.” The stylist, who had noticed Anna’s uneasiness, spoke up.
