Chapter 18

　　Elena's POV

　　I strolled into the lobby of Rad Fashion N'Style and every eyes were fixated on me. This time it wasn't because I was new, because I could see envy in them and not curiosity. My new manager, Vanessa strolled up to me.

　　“Good morning, Ms McGregor,” she said to me.

　　“Morning. Why is everyone looking at me? Did something happen?”

　　“Haven't you seen the news?” she asked and brought out her iPad to show me something. I looked in and there were pictures of Alex and I. The first were taken in front of the company when he gifted me the diamond earrings and kissed my hair. The rest were either in front of my house, or in front of his parents house.

　　“These pictures were released last night, ma'am,” Vanessa said.

　　“Let's go somewhere private, please,” I said.

　　“How about your office?” she asked.

　　“My office?”

　　“Yes. You have been promoted to the HOM of the company and now have an office to yourself.”
