Chapter 94

“I could not save them,” I confessed. “They were too many, and too well guarded. I am just one girl. But there was one thing I could do for them,” I met the prince Rivyn’s eyes, it was his name that the Seers of Seigradh had spoken, it was he that I needed to inspire to come to my aid. “I could seek the Fae Court, let you know of their plight, and plead for your intervention.”

“And we will give it,” it was Akyran who responded, drawing my gaze, and his dark blue eyes held mine unflinchingly as his lips curled slightly. “We will have all brethren advised that Uyan Taesil is no longer a safe haven for our kind, and that all should withdraw from those lands, into places of safety.”

There was a murmur amongst the gathering.

“We thank you Princess,” Akyran bowed his head to me. “For bringing this travesty to our attention.”
