  "Yes." I gripped his hips tighter against me. "Just…"

  I bit the meat between his shoulder and neck, and he groaned and then cried out sharply as I found release, pulling him into his own. He sank over me, his body hot and damp with sweat against me, still in the last strains of pleasure, and I wrapped my limbs around him, holding him tightly to me.

  "I love you," I pressed my lips against his cheek.

  He sighed and linked his fingers with mine, bringing them to his mouth and kissing my knuckles. "I can't remember a moment since meeting you as a child when I have not loved you," he replied quietly. "Do you remember our first kiss?"

  I laughed. "Yes, you wouldn't let me play swords with you unless you got a kiss. We must have been… oh, in our first decade."

  "I told you then that you were going to marry me, and you told me I needed to learn to fight better first."

  "That sounds like me," I smirked.
