"That was Rawlf?" Veronica glanced at the woman in front of her and nodded. "I'm happy for you." The woman continued.
"Thank You Rose. I'm sorry if I weren't able to catch up even though I'm already here." Veronica said, sounding apologetic.
"Vivi, we both know that sometimes, there were things we couldn't tell the others. As long as both of us are available for a talk, it already means much to me. We're unlike those of others who shared almost everything about their lives. We may not be like them but we also have something between us, we have understanding, mutual understanding."
Veronica held the woman's hands on top of the table. And couldn't help but ask herself, 'What happened when she was gone?'
She knew Rose had been abused in her father's family when she was younger. And that had really greatly impacted her, as a person.
