Forever the alpha

　　“Ring. Ring.” The alarm on my phone rang out and I stirred out of my sleep.


　　I stretched out my hands, searching for my phone and I finally grabbed it from the table next to my bed. Why was there an alarm on my phone.


　　I held my phone to my face and switched off the alarm. I looked at my phone screen and sighed as I realized why the alarm had sounded. It was the first Wednesday of the month so I had to be at the board meeting at my company and then an appointment with my plastic surgeon. Today was the only day I officially went to my office since I was the CEO of the beauty and cosmetics company.


　　I let out a sigh of frustration and climbed down from my bed. I went to open the curtains and I stretched myself with a loud yawn.


　　Today was going to be a long day. Now that Valerie was okay, there was no ljbger anything to work about, which meant a purposeless day.


　　I walked into the bathroom and picked up my toothbrush, adding toothpaste.
