　　"No, I was adopted by the Martins when I was fourteen"


　　Silence surrounded them as Matthew took in the information, meanwhile Serenity thought back to what he had said just a few moments ago, she was confused to say the least.


　　"Wait, wasn't your mate and pack killed by rogues?" She asks him confused because as far as she know, his pack was attacked by a group of rogues, maybe even a pack of them.
