Chapter-36<*Meeting*>

Cloud was surprised to see one of his mission targets, come to where he was, not to mention that she was accompanied because he saw how his Survivor Limit had risen to 260.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet Shizuka-chan's friend" - Cloud said with a smile.

"Same here"- Rika agreed as she looked at the boy- "She was never interested in other men so I guess you have to be someone interesting"

"I'm just an ordinary student"-smiled the blonde as he shook his head.

"An ordinary student wouldn't survive this situation, unless he would have the strength and courage to directly face hordes of zombies"-Rika said seriously, making it clear that she didn't believe his alibi as an ordinary boy.

"I would say the same about you... a normal woman wouldn't have all those guns and a military Humby in her garage"-Cloud said calmly.

"You're more interesting than I thought at first" - Rika nodded, then looked at Shizuka - "I approve"

"Mou! It's my life, Rika-chan!" - Shizuka just puffed out her cheeks in annoyance as Cloud smiled. He had not seen. Shizuka acting so childish ever since they started this whole journey.

"Anyway, as much as I'd like to keep talking, I have to go talk to Souichiro about something serious" - Rika said seriously as a silence invaded the place - "Did I say something wrong?"

"Souichiro..." - Cloud muttered regretfully.

"My husband, he has passed away" -Yuriko said as she walked towards where they were. She had received a report from one of her men that an armed military

group had arrived at the scene-"It's a surprise to see you again, Rika-san"

"Same here, Yuriko-san" Rika agreed as she looked at her purple-haired companion. It had to be said that the two of them had been classmates at the Military Academy, so they could be said to be friends.

"What happened to the survivors?" Yuriko asked calmly. She had received the information that the army was evacuating a large number of survivors and high ranking men.

"Everyone safe" - Rika replied calmly - "What happened with the mansion?

"Before the EMP, a bus crashed in the vicinity of the mansion, attracting a large number of those things" - said the yakuza woman - "We had no choice but to evacuate the area... although I decided it would be a good idea to finish everything with a Bang and in the process, kill as many zombies as possible"

"A crazy but understandable decision"- Rika agreed as she looked at the woman- "Have you made contact with the central?"

"Do you really think I have an EMP-approved phone?" -Yuriko asked with a frown - "You know very well that they don't deliver them unless it's a case of clear importance... but let's change the subject... what do you plan to do now?"

"Stay and wait for the army to make contact with you" - Rika said calmly - "I'm sure this won't have to wait long..."

"You don't know how true your words are" - Cloud said as he watched a man running down at full speed.

"Yuriko-sama! A large group of military vehicles is approaching this place!" Tora exclaimed as she looked at her superior.

"..." - the two women looked at the boy once more.

"What? Tora has been in that place for hours with the clear mission of warning that the military were coming" -Cloud said as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Let's better go meet them"-said Yuriko as she shook her head-"I'm sure whoever is in charge will be happy to see the Ace of the Sniper Squad again"

---

After 5 minutes, the vehicles arrived at the entrance of the Supermarket.

The survivors were alert, watching as everything unfolded.

"I guess we were right in the hypothesis that the survivors of the Takagi mansion would move to this location" - an elderly man said as he got out of the vehicle in front - "I owe that idiot Morimoto 5,000 yen"

"General Asami... it's nice to see you again"-Yuriko said as she walked next to Rika and Cloud.

"Yuriko Takagi, as beautiful as the last time we saw each other"-smiled the old general but quickly his brow furrowed "Where is your husband?"

"He... had a tragic fate..." the woman sighed as she gave him a summary account.

"A pity..." - the old general sighed - "That man could have done impressive things in a 'time' like this... by the way, I'm glad to see that you're safe, Captain Rika"

"The same goes, old curmudgeon" - the military woman smiled.

"Hmph! You're still the same insolent brat"-Amami huffed although a small smile appeared on her face-"Who's the boy?"

"His name of his is Cloud Strife… you could say that he is the My daughter's bodyguard" - answered Yuriko.

"Nice to meet you" - nodded the young blonde.

"Interesting... your look doesn't look like that of a normal person... have you killed before?" the general asked as his eyes shone slightly.

"Only after this all went to shit" - Cloud answered.

"I see..." - agreed the general - "Well, let's go straight to the point..."

"Are you coming to get supplies?" Yuriko asked calmly.

"That's right" - agreed Amami - "And checking that you are in this place, I would like to be able to send the civilians to the military camp..."

"And those with experience will stay here?" Yuriko asked with a frown.

"In fact, I would like them to join the army and have us will help to overcome this shitty situation" - he replied me calmly.

"We are yakuza" - answered Yuriko.

"I know... I also know that I will not be able to control you... that is why I only want you to join the army in a symbolic way, you will continue to work 'alone'" - Amami said - "What I want is that if possible , help us find more civilians and send them to the safety of the camp"

"Don't my men deserve a moment of peace?" - Yuriko asked as her annoyance increased with every word the old general said - "Don't you think we've done enough already?"

"I will give them the option to choose" - Amami said seriously - "If they want, they can go with the civilians to the central camp but they will have to follow all my orders and laws... if they are found guilty of breaking any of them, They will be punished accordingly."

"I have no problem with that" - said Yuriko as she shook her hair - "If they decide to risk their lives, I am nobody to stop it"

"Contact the central base! I want all available transport vehicles to come to this location to take the survivors and supplies!" - exclaimed the General - "And I want them as soon as possible!"

"Hai!" - The soldiers exclaimed as they followed the orders of their superior.

---

After half an hour, a large number of vehicles came towards the supermarket.

The survivors had been informed of this situation so they did not hesitate to get into the vehicles that would take them to the safety of the Military Camp. Takagi's subordinates decided to follow Yuriko, although some who had not been with them long did not hesitate to join the civilians on their journey to safety.

Takashi decided that he would go with the civilians so he could protect his girlfriend and mother while the others were waiting for his leader's decision.

"What are you planning to do now, Yuriko-san?" Cloud asked as he looked at the sexy purple haired woman.

"I don't know"-Yuriko denied as she looked out the window as the survivors boarded the military buses-"Honestly... I don't know...

Although it sounds strange, she had gotten used to this life full of dangers where a small mistake could cause her early death.

"What do you plan to do?" The woman asked as she looked at the boy she had in front of her.

"Me?" - the boy was surprised - "I decided to stay in this place"

"?" Yuriko gave the boy a curious look.

"If I'm honest... I don't think I can get used to being in that place" - Cloud said while looking at the survivors, although in his opinion, they shouldn't be called that since they didn't do anything to survive - "Maybe I just feel comfortable being in such a dangerous place? Maybe it's the excitement? Honestly... I don't know, but I find this place more fun."

Somehow she could understand what he was trying to say.

"Maybe it's because I only have a short time to live?" the woman wondered as she looked at the blond. She had to admit that she found it attractive that he was so daring because she was the same, if it wasn't for that, she wouldn't have fallen in love with such a dangerous criminal.

"I guess we'll stay…" Yuriko said as she shook her head, "Although we will make a few small modifications to the plan"

"?" Cloud gave the woman a confused look, who had a smile on her face.

"We will divide the group in two, one will keep looking for survivors while the other will be training to provide support when necessary" - Yuriko said seriously - "Not to mention that those who are safe, will be responsible for organizing the supplies and information that they will give us the forces of Amami"

"Somehow I feel that you are more excited than usual"-Cloud said as he watched as the woman was now brimming with energy.

"I guess it's because I finally found what to do during these few days that I have left to live"-muttered Yuriko as she shook her head-"At least it's better than waiting for me to die"
