Chapter 464 [Application Nen: Devour]

"I forgot to tell you, I can only devour one ability of each type, so you don't have to worry" - Cloud replied while shrugging his shoulders - "But I still want to kill some villains."
"You want to eat them?" - Menchi asked awkwardly.
"I'm curious about the effects of consuming Nen users, but you don't have to worry, I don't plan to, at least for now" - Cloud replied calmly.
"Ok, I'll see what I can do" - Menchi replied as she sighed, after all, it wasn't like she could change the instincts of a dragoon.
Cloud for his part, just remained silent as he tried to see if there was any new contradiction between his human nature, and that of his new form, only to see how every time he evolved, he was getting colder and colder with this kind of matters - "Thank you."

[Application Nen: Devour (SR- Evolvable)]
Skill Nen based on the 7 Deadly Sins, each sin is a different skill, with different restrictions.
1- [Gluttony: Devour]: Your shadow can shapeshift and consume all kinds of substances, as long as the user can devour them normally.
Effect 1: Regenerates 100 points of Energy per entity consumed.
Effect 2: +10 additional Energy permanently, as long as it is a living being killed by the user.
Effect 3: You can consume up to 6 Nen abilities of different prey, as long as you comply with the restrictions imposed.
Effect 3 [Restriction]: 1) The user must see and analyze the ability he wishes to devour. 2) The user must have knowledge of the name of the ability from the target. 3) The user must kill directly the target. 4) The user cannot devour skills that conflict with each other. 5) The user can only activate one skill of [Nen Application: Devour] at a time.

"That was the randomly chosen?" - Cloud muttered in surprise, only to get to thinking - "If so, then that's a relief, this will be a lot easier than I thought."
[Intensification] was one of Nen's most common specializations, so finding a good enough prey would be somewhat easy.
"Well, with this my technique has finally taken shape, and with that the first step is complete" - Cloud said with a huge smile, not noticing how his shadow trembled slightly.
"I see you're happy, Cloud" - Kyoko said as she watched the blond walk in his direction - "Did something happen?"
"Yes, I finally completed my technique, now all that's left is to use it constantly so I can perfect it" - Cloud replied with a small smile as his shadow rose up behind him
"Kyoka!" - Kyoko screamed in terror when she saw this, only to blush when she saw how she had reacted so fearfully - "Please don't do that again!"
"Sorry" - Cloud replied with an amused smile, an expression he didn't often show, only to widen his eyes in surprise.
"Did I say something wrong?" - Kyoko asked as she tilted her head to the side seeing the blond's sudden change.
"No, it's nothing" - Cloud replied as he shook his head, only to shoot a discreet glance at his shadow who had returned to his proper place.
Cloud was silent for a few seconds as he felt his emotions stabilize, and as part of his human consciousness returned.
"Why is this happening?" - Cloud muttered as he looked closely at his new Skill, only to frown - "Does it have to do with [Gluttony]?"
Cloud was starting to feel a little uncomfortable with the situation because he didn't know what was going on.
He had created his new skill to prevent trouble by using it in public, but now he was seeing that his new technique wasn't as simple as he first thought.
The [7 deadly sins] were not something one had to play with, after all, words had power.
Cloud wasn't sure, but he would accept this situation for now.
"Cloud?" - Kyoko said with concern as she saw such drastic changes in her beloved's expression.
"Sorry, I was thinking about something" - smiled Cloud, who for the first time in a long time, felt a strange serenity.
Kyoko opened her eyes in surprise as she felt her heart pounding at Cloud's new change in attitude, though she quickly shook her head - "Are you really okay?"
"Yeah, I'm just a little confused" - Cloud replied as he shook his head - "I guess it's a change that learning this new skill brought me."
"Remember that we're here for you, Cloud" - Kyoko said as she caressed her beloved's cheek - "And we always will be."
"Ok, I'll take that into consideration" - Cloud replied with a smile as he took Kyoko's hand and squeezed it lightly.
Kyoko again felt her heart give a little leap.
Cloud was kind and caring towards them, but most of the time he was cold and expressionless since he left the world of [God Eater], that's why this small change, was something she accepted with open arms.
"I see your morning started well" - Menchi said while looking at the two lovers, only to shake her head - "Anyway, go call Kyōka because breakfast is almost ready."
"O-Ok, I'm coming right away" - said Kyoko as she ran in the direction where her traveling companion was with her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
"What's for breakfast?" - Cloud asked as he raised an eyebrow.
". . ." - Menchi stared at him silently for a few seconds as she felt that the 'man' standing in front of te of her, had changed drastically in just a few minutes.
