Chapter 479 ( Auction - II )
"That is why I have come for your help" - said Kurapika earnestly - "I wish you to help me stop them while I hunt them down one by one."
"Stop them, and not kill them, or protect you?" - Kyōka asked while raising an eyebrow.
"Exactly, I don't plan to let you guys protect me, I don't want you to kill them either, I want to do it with my own hands" - answered Kurapika seriously - "The hands of the spider members, they are bathed with the blood of the Kurta clan."
"Come to think of it, Kuruta Island, is it related to your clan?" - Menchi asked as she looked at the young blond.
"Kuruta Island? I haven't heard that name in a long time" - said Kurapika wistfully - "According to the stories I was told during my childhood, Kuruta Island was the ancestral land of my clan, it was a fertile land and full of wildlife, but one day my ancestors had to escape because an ancient evil appeared."
"It was probably the [Rocky Dragon]." - Kyoko said as Menchi nodded.
"[Rocky Dragon]?" - Kurapika repeated, only to frown - "That would explain why my clan hates those things, anyway, I'd like to get an answer as soon as possible."
"Ok, we'll talk to cloud and inform him about the situation, though for now I ask you not to do anything stupid" - said Kyōka seriously - "Keep a low profile and wait for our answer."
"Ok" - nodded Kurapika as he silently withdrew.
"Do you think he'll accept?" - Menchi asked as she looked at her two traveling companions.
"Probably, I mean, this is a good opportunity for us" - said Kyōka as she shrugged - "Not counting that with this I'll be able to "eat" to my heart's content."
"I agree with Kyōka, it's quite possible that Cloud will accept" - said Kyoko as she started to think.
"I guess we'd better get ready" - said Menchi as she shook her head at the battle that was about to begin.

"Strange" - muttered Cloud as he frowned seeing how many of the products that were being auctioned, were fakes, or very well made imitations - " And by the expression of the lady presiding over the auction, it is obvious that this is not something premeditated, but then the question would come to be, who would do something like this?"
Cloud was silent as he noticed how much of the participants, didn't seem to understand what was going on, though at the same time he could sense the growing hostility of the insiders.
"Th-The new product, is a rare object coming from one of the most inhospitable corners of the continent!" - Said the beautiful lady as sweat ran down her face - "I-I present to you, the sun seed!"
Cloud raised an eyebrow as he read the description the organization had put up for the participants.

Cloud started to think when he read this, only to look at Mimi and ask if that thing was true, only to frown when he saw Mimi shake her head.
"Another fake object?" - Cloud asked as he frowned in irritation - "Do you guys want to earn the hatred of everyone here?"
Cloud frowned as he thought about this, only to set himself to thinking more carefully.
"Why would an organization made up of great members of the [Abyss], do something like this?" - Cloud muttered as he thought at full speed, only to raise an eyebrow as he felt his pocket begin to vibrate.
He quickly picked up his phone and answered the call, only to widen his eyes in surprise when he heard his lover's words - "Tell her we accept, and I want them to be prepared for whatever comes, in case something gets out of hand, I want them to contact me immediately, is that clear?"
Cloud waited a few more seconds in silence as he listened as Kyōka reluctantly agreed - "Ok, if that's all, I'm going to cut."
Cloud shook his head, only to focus on the stage and watch as the beautiful girl was on the verge of tears - "I guess I better go see what the fuck is going on."
The blond quickly got up from his seat and walked to the reception desk to ask for the address of where the event organizers were, only to notice how the receptionist was also on the verge of tears, such it seemed that he wasn't the only one who had come for answers.

"What's the meaning of this!" - exclaimed a man with a dapper mustache - "Most of the products are fakes!"
"Sir, I promise you that all the products are 100% real, but there seems to be some problem with them" - replied the auction manager with annoyance.
He was also an expert, so he knew something fishy was going on.
"I promise you that I will get to the bottom of all this" - said the manager, only to feel a sharp pain in his head before everything went black.
"!" - those present quickly looked around in terror because they saw how a man wearing a yukata, had appeared with a pretty girl with glasses.
"I'm sorry, but complaints will not be heeded" - Nobunaga said neutrally as he drew his katana - "I kindly ask you to go to our superior, he will answer you more kindly."
"I thought you would have to kill them" - said Shizuku confused.
"That's the point" - replied Nobunaga while shaking his head - "Anyway, let's get this over with".
"OK" - nodded Shizuku as he pulled out a vacuum cleaner with a monstrous mouth - "Time to work ~"
Nobunaga nodded when he saw this, no matter how much time passed, he would always say that Shizuku's ability was convenient, not to mention that the girl was broken, so there was no need to question her morality.
"Interesting, this explains a lot" - a male voice said as the door to the place slowly opened.
Nobunaga opened his eyes in surprise when he saw his next prey, only to quickly get on his guard.
"Nobunaga-san?" - Shizuku asked in surprise as she saw her current teammate's expression.
"Get ready to fight" said Nobunaga as he pointed his Katana in the blond's direction - "That man is a danger level of unknown rank."
"Ok" - nodded Shizuku seriously.
"So, I want to assume that you guys are part of the [Ghost Brigade]?" - Cloud said as he walked in the direction of the two criminals - "I guess that means you guys were the ones who traded the auction items, even though you made a mistake, with the organizer killed, everyone will know that someone tricked you"
"We just have to make sure no one finds out who we are, and everything will be fine" - Nobunaga said neutrally.
"Yes, but there's one problem" - Cloud said with a small smile that slowly grew - "And that is that you can't necessarily silence me."
Slowly, Nobunaga and Shizuku felt the air grow heavy.
"This is bad, it's just as we had thought" - Nobunaga said as he began to release his Nen in order to resist the pressure he was feeling - "Shizuku, I want you to run, escape and inform our leader and the others that the [Headhunter] is a danger to us!"
"Exactly, I am a danger to you" - Cloud replied as his shadow began to vibrate and took the shape of a huge dragon snout - "Come on, let's dance!"
"Run!" - Nobunaga exclaimed as he lunged at Cloud with his sword in hands.
"I'm a swordsman too" - Cloud said as he extended his hand and materialized a huge two-handed sword.
Nobunaga felt a bit uncomfortable as he felt the change in the blond's aura, but he still prepared to block his opponent's attack, only to feel a sharp pain in his hands - ". . ."
"Does it hurt? I haven't even used my full power" - Cloud replied as he put more force into his attack.
Nobunaga gritted his teeth as he felt his body hunch slightly at the enormous pressure he felt, so without a second thought, he dropped his sword and stepped back at full speed.
Maybe a sword was an extension of a swordsman's body, and there were times when one didn't have to let go of his weapon even if it meant losing his life, but this was not one of those.
Nobunaga didn't think twice, he quickly tried to escape when he saw that the difference in power was so great, but just as he went out the window, he felt something penetrate his shoulder.
"Where do you think you're going?" - Cloud, who was holding a strange gun in his hands, asked - "I didn't let you escape."
Nobunaga didn't hear him, he just continued running despite the pain of his wound, not noticing how Cloud was following him with his eyes.
"The hunt has begun" - Cloud said as they turned red and his pupils took the shape of a four-pointed star - "Let's see how far you can go before you give in to despair."
