Chapter 562 ( Starting the Mission )
Time continued to move forward and quickly 3 days had passed.
Cloud spent all this time together with Tabane and Houki, learning everything he could about the different types of weapons and how to use them instinctively. Even Rika was in the middle for him to practice and learn how to shoot without thinking.
During all this time, Cloud hadn't seen Kyoko because she didn't want to.
He had heard from Olga, that Kyoko was already well, but it seemed that she didn't want to distract him with the little details she was suffering.
Cloud understood this, but at the same time he felt that Kyoko did not want to trust him.

Cloud sighed when he heard this as he looked at his next traveling companion.
"I wonder what I'll be like?" muttered Rika as she cocked her head to the side after taking a last look at all her preparations.
"No idea, though I have a feeling we'll just get younger" - Cloud replied as he shrugged his shoulders.
"That doesn't sound so bad, I mean, I've my childhood was spent most of the time training because of my father, so you could say this is a second chance for me" - smiled Rika while looking at the blond - "I just hope things won't be so crazy".
"Depending on when we show up, things will be easier or harder" - Cloud answered because he didn't like to tempt fate, more so when the system was handing them a high failure level mission.
"I don't think things will be that bad, I mean, we already have too many restrictions for things to get much crazier" - Rika muttered while frowning, although something inside her told her that everything was possible - "Ugh, now I'm not so sure".
"We'd better leave that for another time, and concentrate on resting for the rest of our stay in this place" - Cloud said simply.
"Right, we've already trained more than enough to get ready" - smiled Rika as she walked away.
Cloud slowly closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep because he had been mentally exhausted with everything he had been learning.
When he opened his eyes again, he saw how the sun was at the highest point in the sky.
He was surprised when he saw this because he never thought he would sleep for so long, although it showed how tired he was.

Cloud was silent before shaking his head and getting ready.

The girls quickly stepped back and watched everything from a distance.
Cloud and Rika, felt everything go white as they fell to the ground unconscious, only to have two small silhouettes appear in front of them after a few seconds.
The two appeared to be much younger versions of Cloud and Rika, about 5 years old or so.
"This is weird" - muttered Rika, who had much less tanned skin - "Uh, this brings back memories."
Cloud looked at her hands and body, noticing that she had indeed returned to being human. He could instinctively feel it, and the clearest proof was his eyes that had returned to how they were during his first world - ". . ."
"Are you okay?" - Rika asked as the others looked tenderly at the little blond.
"Yeah, it's just that I had forgotten this feeling of weakness" - Cloud answered honestly as he watched a strange portal appear in front of them.

Cloud smiled when he saw this as he gave one last look to his companion - "Ready?"
"Heh, I was born ready" - Rika replied disdainfully as the two entered the portal.
"Good luck" - Kyoko muttered under her breath as she walked back to her new home so she could start training.

"Really?" - Asked a small boy with black hair and eyes of the same brown.
"Yes, son, a new family is moving in next door" - smiled the boy's mother as she stroked his hair - "I hope you'll be nice to them because I heard they're part of the military."
"Government?" - The boy asked, confused by this.
"Oh, sorry, they are strong people who protect us from the bad guys" - smiled the mother as she watched the boy nod firmly.
"Then I'm going to be your friend!" - Hajime Nagumo exclaimed with a huge smile.
"That's the attitude, son" - smiled Sumire as she watched the moving truck park at the house next door, a towering man getting out along with a pretty woman.
Hajime was frightened at the man's appearance because he looked like someone scary, but his expression changed when he saw the two children that came out behind them.
The girl seemed to be the daughter of the two adults, however, the boy didn't look like either of them, which made it strange.
"Let's go say hello, son" - said Sumire as she gave her son a little pat.
"Ok" - nodded Hajime as he walked to the family.
The man looked at the mother and son, and nodded in their direction.
"Really" - murmured the mother of the family, a beautiful purple haired woman - "Forgive my husband, he is someone of few words, a bad habit he earned for his work".
"Oh, don't worry, I understand what you're talking about, my husband is a bit crazy with his thoughts being the owner of a video game company" - replied Sumire while she indicated her son to go to the children - "Oh, sorry for not introducing myself, my name is Sumire Nagumo, and he is my son, Hajime"
"My name is Shuri Minami, this is my husband, Ryu Minami, and my daughter, Rika Minami" - smiled Shuri as she pointed to each of her family - "And last but not least, this is Cloud Strife, he is the son of a friend of my husband's that we are taking care of"
"And his parents?" - Sumire asked curiously, but her expression changed to one of sorrow when she noticed the change in her new neighbor's eyes - "Oh, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked you that."
"No, don't worry" - sighed Shuri as she looked at the little blond boy who seemed not to show much emotion, though it wasn't as if she could blame him - "His father was a colleague of my husband's, but he died in service, as for his mother, she died when she gave birth. Poor kid, he's had a hard life."
"Oh, I'm sorry" - Sumire apologized again while looking at the poor blond boy with pity - "No one deserves so much suffering at such a young age."
"I know, that's why we're doing everything we can for him to open up to us, but we haven't had many results, although this is to be expected, we've been taking care of him for only a few days" - sighed Shuri as she shook her head.
