Time disruptions

Monotony has a rhythm and the social order of things have a purpose. She is an understudy teaching assistant but she still taking normal basic curriculum studies like maths, English and two other languages. As a student, everyone looks down on her for her poor grades - not taking into account her issues like dyslexia or having annoying book thuds that only she hears. When she was assigned to cover a class, she not trying to teach them anything. She only stayed to the curriculum lesson plan as asked. She does have a minor little gathering of spirit folks that want to study under her, but this makes any normal human jealous or confused. She doesn't have a reputation nor does anyone respect her. She did not make a name for herself in either good or bad ways. Wallpaper with an ominous aura. At best it is her secretive spare time that only those that wish to throw her lower than dirt that has anyone making common conversation around here. A wild theory such as being in contact with the headmaster somehow or that she is a demon in disguise. There is the worse theory but they don't linger as passable.

When they do assignments crossed over in visitation to the Sigil boundaries, she works solo and always directly does things that even teachers aren't granted to do. She has shown to be adept at magic as much as the new magic teacher. Even then no one has seen them together nor does it mean she learnt it from the mage.

Day in and out, she works through standard levels. Was taking the mock exams over and over, jumping the age gaps each time. In the 4th term into things she has all the standing a normal teaching assistant position offers but without the human touch about it. The rhythm of life has been raised and lowered. Student bullying issues came and passed. But nothing went to the other teachers or headmaster. She does seem to have a way of discouraging such behaviours in her presence. Be it that it adds to her inhuman ways, siding more with the student body's belief that she's not human.

Within this period there has been only silence from the spirit realms, not even any flow of news. There have been no changes in the wider society of humans that causes any problems to erupt from the afterlife. Equally there has been less and less interaction between angels and demons. The boundaries have seemingly widened and veils of spirits have been harder for even sensitive individuals who are not able to detect. It was like we cut off the connection to spiritual flow. Naturally occurred gates are closing. Studying among the living is pushing to forget about the spirits. To be clouded back to forgetting about the afterlife among us. By the 5th term ends, there is no longer any night classes or any study about spirit danger. This however was fine, she adapted her craft business to mage needed spell components. She is supplying the mage classes with materials needed to prevent magic over cost. As using magic is using energy from the soul and expenditure of any spare energy absorbed from the unnatural phenomena. The headmaster has been more human these days, overlooking her changes. Seemingly also sort of swept her aside as he makes school changes to protect mage children.

Making her the only one ready for any invasive spirit folks that will come back as spirit veil wades back closer to the living lands. She not entirely cut off from spirit worlds, otherwise she couldn't dream or sleep at all. There still a strange strong connection with dreams that can't be severed.

Disruption came at the moment time began to revert among the living. As the world was paused and then sent backwards the spirits came to steal souls and change events through the removal of things. All in help with divine blessed beings that was immune to time revert. Lea is among those that are immune to time reverting. Oddly so her mother and stepfather that came into the picture without Lea being informed. He was a welcomed need, Immune to time changes.

"So all we have left behind are the cursed human ones that can't be saved?" As blurs of moving people and time lapses of the sky flick night to day. She sits hidden in this safe space these divine mage followers made. The leading mage at the from loudly asked his god beside him.

"Some of these cursed have managed to find safe places to shelter from the time harvest." Bring Lea to raise a brow at what was just said. Did she hear that right? harvest? as in they made this universe to harvest sand of time from it? That would make so much sense of why things are but at the same time not really. The amount of fragile seams this universe has doesn't make it a perfect time Harvesting collection point. Also also. It are already ready-to-use sand dunes just slightly within the reach of this universe. Is she the only that knows that?

"I am so glad you aren't among those lost in time." Her mother reflecting that her daughter is seated beside her, "Does this mean you are protected as a Keeper of a soul tome?" Lea can help but sigh at this sort of question. She heard it from many others before but it was a 1st from her mom.

"Oh, I am just an abnormal soul. You lot labelled as cursed, gifted or something. It's why I look after the books like I do." Lea crossed her arms in that iconic that as always she was hiding the scars time makes and fade and bleeds again. She sits uncomfortably through the wave of pain and stinging rip of her skin. She can feel the tattoo soul names imprinted and removed from her skin. Waves of heat caused by these constant changes waver the air to flicker. She seems engulfed by the invisible flames, the bench of the pew are being scorched where her skin makes direct contact. Her clothing quiet sooty of the ash that keeps them from dusting in the heat. Always in a mild discomfort, hyperawareness of what is happening to her and the changes by her soul demands. She is having to hold her mask hidden too. Glued to the seat as other god followers with their loved ones arrived. Attention swept to the ones that barely scrap it to safety in time before the room is sealed with many god spells. Everyone takes a seat, set to the long wait.

"Who here is the highest ranked spirit authority?" Shouted from the doors that been closed and with a heightened fear threading throughout. Frantic moves of them running past those confused and peering along the pews. The many frowns of eyes looking around for any answer. Lea can't help but shrink more. Lowering to hope there is a god here to pin responsibility. She doesn't want a part of internal laws.

"It depends on the level you judgement is siding. If you talking accessibility of tomes, then the followers of life and death. If you strength or justice, the overlord over there is who you want. If you talking cosmic... Well this is among the hidden among us." Answered rightly. The one frantically scared was suddenly hurting, lowering themselves at the floor. The attempt to stand but this isn't a natural way. Plenty have turned weapon to hand. Raised at defending the weak here.

"If you talking about boundaries. Then I am your intention." Lea forced herself up and no one but her own mother believed this. Some snickered and even the panic of the man was hesitant for this. Even so she can see what they don't, she can taste a soul snatcher from a mile away, "How dare you!" She moved out the way, out of her mother's protective barrier. Lea gives a soft shoulder brush as she exits. Leaving this little barrier of divine protection was the prevention of time and space acting law on her. But she is stronger in sheer grasp of her being. Defying the natural law this universe covets as certainty. Crossing from out of living reach and into the grey area of spirit time stop. Her appearance followed this change, aging a little girl into a nightmare's worst fear. That of a tall elder elditch horror without face and many scars. Holding her torso was apparent now, the reason was the sheer gapping hole that was her stomach. Faceless too, the area was caved in. Her ethereal cloth limbs held around the barrier, protective of her mother and stepfather within.

"How dare me? What did I do?" The puppet does its job.

"What god are you the follower of? What plain of existence does such a god domain over?" Trick questions on her part. She doesn't know these answers either but it's a test that all the god followers are getting behind. Stood backing off from the broken bone flexing this god follower makes.

"Why would you know? You not better then me. I am at least not hiding that I don't belong here." The many turned confused. It spoke out of a language not human and unholy so it was gibbering according to the others.

"Soul eater." She hissed and it shivered. But it holds this confidence that it will be able to achieve something, "You have no existence in the registration of this universe. Leave while you are still can. Leave and maybe you can continue as you are. Dare one little slip and I will hunt you down as the duty I hold to be!" She spoke crystal clear with that shattered sudden anxiety from those around her.

"Poacher!" It hisses clearly back, "You not human."

She can't help but sort of find that funny. She lost the plot with such 'smart' ages ago. She better at scaring and having isolation than sharing pain and hoping allies. Her last only ally stabbed her in the gut, that scar still bleeding. Still so painful and festering. This pain was far greater pain then any meal she can drag from another soul. Even so, so many pains have been bare to her shoulders. She not stupid at letting the this escalate. Swift motion, the soul snatcher are removed from the puppet that was captivated. A monster was ripped jn all directions, cloth tendril that pulled endlessly and that of her real hands clawed out the core soul. Dripping liquids all directions. Visceral splatter on holy grounds. She doesn't need to worry about such thing breaking this divine protection. This blood doesn't have existence. However it can do and there is a possibility of it being used against them. She has precautions such as to spary all areas of the mixer powders. This mix has a lot of erasing aura and holy divine energy. It clearly effected her just as much to use it as it is effectively of protection. She crushed the soul and pours the content into her tomes. She sighed with being stressed. It doesn't change the rest of this room being affected to her dream veil perception filter. That slowly she was lost from being viewed by many. Slowly even her own parents couldn't see that she protects them in a such way.

"Just a moment longer." It was as if everyone here was waiting out for bombs to stop. Time laspes of changing thier clothing and age. Even Lea was returned back to unborn and unknown. Her lasting spirit just hidden in the veils waiting to be reborn. Blurs of many other god followers changing. But gladly her mother in among the stable.

The doors reopened and her mother as a young teenager leaves the cult church. Back to returned natural time. It is for the best that Lea reunited with her dream locked soul half. But it too through some changes. It seems the afterlife reverted 4 times in the single twist that loving realm did. Disconnecting the perception of what should be reality for herself. Unable to cope with the law changes. She still manages to cling within reason to this universe. She definitely took a step into being a dream creature... since this is all she can be. Lost among the fears and nightmare creatures. Lost in the darkness at the edge of time and space ad always but on the natural aid of known laws.
