"Please, I have to go home." That's what I told the man in front of me. I begged him to let me go, but in my heart, I pray he never will.

<p>At least, not in a way I understood. I've lost control before. Every time I shift, I lose a piece of my humanity to the creature who takes over, but this was something different. Somehow, I was still driving, but I wasn't. There was no sensation of being split. No voices or pulling told me my brothers were telling me what to do. It felt like it was all me, which was somehow more terrifying. </p>
