The Edda

Nefretiri

I needed to figure out where to go.

At first, I ran aimlessly. My goal was to stay away from Ivan as long as possible. I avoided the human roads, sticking to the mountains. It wasn't that I was afraid someone would see me. Honestly, I didn't care, but I needed the quiet of the wilderness right now.

What I'd just done hadn't left me feeling well.

I was torn in a million emotions, and I couldn't process any of them. Let alone put a name to most. So, I let Kali take control and sat in my subconscious, aware enough of where we were going, but not anything else. It felt good to hide away like that, even though I knew I couldn't do it for long.

This was much harder than I'd thought it would be.
