Chapter 30

  Throughout the night and into the next morning, none of us slept a wink as we all kept watch. We have learnt our lesson and Anlow was muttering about this forest being out of reach for both children and adults, not like he didn’t believe my words that the Gurumapa was gone but because of the strange yowling we heard, like a cat was injured but from the strength of the yowls, it seemed like a giant cat.

  “It seems like we would have to check our traps before going home.” I said as the rest groaned, all they wanted was to get out of this place, a place that was home for them before but now has turned into a place where they never knew what was going to pop up.
