  With my neck throbbing and arousal still pulsing through me, Norman dragged me from the room. I pushed against him fighting for a chance to get back to Warren. All I could see were two wolves snapping at each other. Two giant streaks of fur and blood.

  "You're going to have to calm down. Nicholas is taking care of this matter. It's time for you to come with me." His clear aqua eyes were far too innocent for this man. "If you don't come with me quietly, I'll have to punish you." He grinned at the idea.

  I shivered. "Please, no," I whispered. I needed to get hold of myself. If I didn't mold myself into the next piece I needed to be, this could all fail. Everything I'd endured up to this point would be wasted. "I can't leave him." Why did I have such an overwhelming concern for Warren? Wasn't it the mate thing he talked about?
