Chapter 22

  Nicholas

Erina hung suspended in my little playnet. Her silk-like hair pooling onto the floor in all its black glory. Her brow-eyes glazed, lust still clouding their beautiful gaze. Her cheeks and body were still bright pink from my brothers' ministrations.

  She was beautiful.

Deep inside her gaze, a glitter of fear watched me. How could she be afraid of me still? I'd told her she was mine, I'd warned her of what was going to happen, what had to happen.

If I had been truly my sole decision, I never would have shared her at all. My heart beat in connection with hers. Our souls had been intertwined since the moment we were born. Sharing her had never been the plan.

"Nicholas?" she whispered my name, fear making her voice quiver.
