"Thanks for the time," I said goodbye to Luke when I got out of his car, he just nodded at me and grinned before honking and turning on his mercedes.
I sighed and walked in, embarrassed that I was the one who invited but he paid. I mean I will definitely pay, but I won't win with him when he insists he won't let me pay. Why does the pride of men increase.
I caught daddy reading and having coffee in the leaving room even at night. I raised an eyebrow and approached him.
"Hey dad,"
He looked up at me and and removed his eye glasses. "Oh," I kissed his cheek and sat down next to him. "How did your date go?" He asked so I suddenly looked at him.
"Dad!" I'm surprised. "It's not a date, Luke is just .. my friend." I answered and leaned on his shoulder. I clasped my hand on his arm and sniffed.
"Really? He's a nice guy though," he added.
