I’m already in love with Phoenix before I even realize.
Phoenix sent me a message ten minutes ago that he’s on his way. My bonding day with Mom turns into cleaning and grocery day. I feel exhausted after cooking for dinner.
They might not taste like a menu from the restaurant, but they aren’t bad either.
I wear a light brown V cut mini dress and match it with a golden belt and golden sandals. I apply black eyeliner and gold eyeshadow, blush on, and red rose lipstick.
I wipe my sweating palm to my flat tummy to ease the little crease. I actually do that because I feel nervous to see Phoenix again, and I hope mom is going to like him.
I have to behave and keep my hands off of Phoenix when he arrives. After five minutes of staying calm, I sneak downstairs. Mom is still in her room. The doorbell rings the moment I step my foot on the floor. Good timing.
“Phoenix!” I squeal and throw myself into his arms.
He catches and wraps me into his arms with a chuckle.
