CHAPTER 104

　　Making love

　　Rabbi returned from his hunt that day with his hunting weapons and a dead snake in a net, he’d gone to get some food for himself and Susannah, but it turns out that he spent the whole of today hunting for only Susannah.

　　“So, you’re telling me that witches can only eat reptiles? I spent the whole of today trying to catch just one snake! I wasn’t even able to get anything for myself.” He dropped his hunting gear and handed the game he caught to Susannah.

　　“Thank you, Rabbi,” she said as she got up from the bed she was laying on and took the snake in her mouth in one bite, it felt so good as she hadn’t had anything to eat since she arrived here so she was quick to eat. “You didn’t have to go through so much trouble for me.”

　　“Why not? You’re worth every trouble I have to go through, I’d go through that and so much more for you Susannah, I mean it.”
