Chapter 57

  Three mails came in—three warning sounds of beeping. Eula sighed a deep breath and stand up, letting Eve decide.

  “I can’t do it, Eve,” she uttered, rubbing her hands.

  Eve shook her head, her mate isn’t always the calm ones. And in times like this, she knows she has no one to count on but herself.

  She decided to inform their heads first. Taking actions without informing them might just lead them to another set of problems.

  “Captain.”

  “Go ahead.” Impatience is in Eulysis’ tone.

  “The uppers sent us mails, can I open them?”

  The line was flatly silent. Not even rustling, neither breathing can be heard.

  “Captain?”

  “Yes, go ahead.”

  He dropped the call without giving further instructions. She knows right there and then, the three are in a serious discussion.

  “Did he allowed us?” Eula asked and held her hand to stopped her from opening the mail.

  “He did.”

  She pressed the button to open the messages.
