Chapter 68

“Sir, the distance is down to thirty kilometers at a greater speed,” Eve announced.

She heard shrill sounds, but when she observed her mates, they seemed to not heard it.

Eulejius worriedly look at her. He gulped and stopped himself from crying even before he could.

'Oh, sweet heavens. Why our Eve, too?!' he asked himself.

  ‘Twenty four.’

  ‘Twenty three.’

  ‘Twenty two.’

  ‘Twenty one.’

  ‘Twenty!’

Two explosions happened right before their eyes. Thanks to the barrier, the debris didn’t hit them, neither get near the ship.

“Oh my! Eulejius! Check on Eve!” Epharil hysterically shouted.

“No, darling. Hey, Eve! Look at me! Hey, sweetie. Please wake up—” He shrugged her, but there is no response.

“I-is she okay?!” Eula asked, but no one of the two answered.

Eulejius took off her suit, exposing her; languid and pale.

“Epharil, she’s bleeding!” Eula sobbed as she is trying to stop it.
