  The man got stunned for a moment before nodding his head. “Yes, of course. You are Eunice,” he then said, and sat properly as he seriously eyed on the folder.

  “So, how was it?” he queried.

  “Which one?” she questioned, hinting him she already has the right to choose whether to still pay some respect or make him taste a bit of disrespectfulness.

  He raised his brow, but remained composed. “Pardon?”

  “Which one specifically are you asking about?”

  “Which one?” he repeated and frowned.

  She smelled victory as he refrained himself from showing his colors. At least for once, she made him know it is not always his rules over someone’s.

  “Yes. Which one are you referring to?”

  He raised his brows even more and creased his forehead; and put back her documents, dismissing whatever they have to talk about. She gasped, realizing that he has no plans to cooperate.

  “It was okay.” She stopped him when he stood up.
