“You.” He looked at one of them. “What happened? Why no one of you had told me about the incident?” he asked in a low voice, calm but deadly.
“Sir, you had shutdown the communication system when you left,” the man defended convincingly, though didn’t sound defensive.
“I didn’t.” He glanced at Rum, who quickly shook his head in response to his questioning stares.
“And why no one of you had not at least followed us?” he queried next. For the very first time, he would like to regret about restricting the usage of communication devices only to the ones he has provided them in his attempt to keep them from having a contact to anyone outside.
