  “Thank goodness there is no Lux, neither Rum today,” Eunice uttered lowly as she approached her.

  She can’t blame her for feeling intimidated by the two. That is their very nature—to make people sense their overflowing threat-like presence.

  “They are here. It is just that they are both seems busy on something.” She shrugged as she led her outside. That way, they can at least have a little privacy.

  “How’s the situation outside?”

  “Nothing unusual.” Eunice sighed.

  She knew it. The woman is as weary as she is—mentally and emotionally. But, on the other hand, if not for Eunice’s consideration and cooperation, she might end up literally have to start at the bottom to get a grasp on the reality outside.

  “I have something to tell you that I did not have a chance to discuss with you the last time I was here.”

  Judging by how she delivered it, that must be indeed crucial that she can’t just leave it unsaid.
