  It took her minutes to normalize her breathing and rested her head on the man’s shoulder as she handed him the gun.

  “I did it, Rum. I did it. I can defend myself now, can’t I?”

  The man gulped and looked behind him only to see a man that even though wearing different, he could tell that he is one of his guards, lying on the ground; lifeless. He grabbed the Captain’s wrist and brought her inside the facility.

  “Go back to the office now!” he instructed and never allowed anyone to get near her as he considers them all as moles.

  “That is—”

  “That is one of your men. I know.”

  He made her sat down and enclosed her in a thick glass, that she can’t hear him, neither anything outside the barrier.

  Rum dialed Eunice’s number, and hope that the woman has no plans to pay them a visit that day. He eyed on Eve, who even though looking puzzled, she remained seated and entrusted him her safety.
